Sweat hoppy aroma. Totally clear pour. Malty ale like taste with just a hint of sweetness in the aftertaste. Dry compaired to other Honey beers I have had. Rather pleasant. Englander1986 (51), Middlesbrough, England Nov 11, 2006 A light golden beer, with a pleasing aftertaste of honey. When served in a pre-chilled glass, it’s extremely refreshing with an unique taste. MarkoR (224), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Nov 7, 2006 Golden color with white foamy head. Honey aroma, of course, but not that pronounce. Light body. Fin (3382), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Oct 25, 2006 Bottle, gradually depleting my stocks of Fullers had this umpteen times before but have never got round to rating. Golden in colour with good clarity, there is a definate honey aroma but backed up with malts. Taste is honey and maybe a bit too sweet not particularly bitter. Gethinbeer (995), Nova Scotia, Canada Oct 22, 2006 Updated: Feb 10, 2009From bottle. Fresh, citrus zest in the aroma. Golden colour with a decent frothy head. Smooth texture with a sweet honey palette. Tangy citrus finish. Slacks (480), Bolton, Ontario, Canada Oct 21, 2006 500ml Bottle: Pours, oddly, honey in colour with no visual carbonation and an ok head that left decent lacing and never quite fully retired. Aroma of sweet malt, cereal, wet grass, and some hops; emphasis on the wet grass. Flavour is very watered down and somewhat delicate, moreso than I’d expected in the somewhat strong scent. The cereals really come through here, and the honey hits on the aftertaste. I did, however, find it well balanced. Drank it in the appropriate glass and was hit on all three levels of the palate at once. Still, too watery and drab for my tastes.
