Organic Honey Dew is the UK’s best selling organic beer. Light and golden with a zesty edge and a bitter-sweet flavour, Honey Dew is a naturally palatable brew that is Soil Association approved as 100% organic.
Served chilled, Organic Honey Dew offers both refreshment and an unbeatable taste. The real organic honey in the brew gives a gentle sweetness that appeals to a wide range of people, even those who perhaps wouldn’t usually drink beer, making it a very popular choice!

500ml bottle poured a golden clear ale in the tankard with a 1 inch rocky cap that reduced to a surface lace. Aromas of crystal malt, clover, soft spice and light wiffs of musty sweetness ( Honey?) Medium bodied...Decent Carastan malt spine, creamy mouth feel, well rounded mellow character, very smooth delivery. Up front we get a big whack of Crystal malts and light challenegr hop tastes which give a bread and spice impression...midway the honey is detectable but the hops keep it from cloying, then the finish is drying and malty with a light kiss of the honey acting as a sharp reminder there will be no bitter after taste . Far from being "sweet" this ale is smooth, malty balanced and extremely drinkable. I take this brew as a second Fuller’s favorite next to their porter. It’s so drinkable and enjoyable I’d be tempted to make this a favored session ale but at 3.50 a 1/2 liter the price prohibits that.

Bottle from LCBO- Pours sparkling gold with lively bubbles and a foamy short lived white head. The nose is filled with mild grassy hops but does have some filler between the malts. SPicy honey sweetness with some crisp hoppy bite. Very subtle, but was pretty good as an up north fishing beer. Spritzy finish, with some hopping present in the finish. Summer beer for sure.

Bottle. Pours gold with amber accents, medium white head on top. Pale malts with golden honey spread. Thin body with light bitter hop character sweeten with true like honey notes. Body was to light, perhaps at 15plato plus this composition would work better.

Coming from Fullers, this is a crushing disappointment. Has a metallic, macro taste. I don’t notice the honey either. No aroma, weak and not great aftertaste. At least it’s organic. I am happy that I resisted the urge to buy 12 of these when I saw them at the LCBO. Bought three and will give the other two to my wife who thinks Stella Artois is the s**t.

Bottle, LCBO Summer Release. Medium yellow, small white head. Sparkling, tons of bubbles. Light malt and strong horrifically cloying honey in funk aroma that almost made me not want to try it - it isn’t off or bad, it is just awful. Light malt, golden ale taste, certainly has a malt or yeast quality that instantly reminds me of "Fullers". But that terrible cloying honey from the aroma resurfaces and ruins what would be a nice summer ale. Very disappointing and almost undrinkable.

How is it that out of 121 raters, I’m the only one using the term "wet dog" to describe the smell, when the nose is clearly, objectively dominated by this horrific funk? Maybe "kennel in a rainstorm" would suffice. This tastes sort of okay, and is a bit gassy on the palate, but the smell just ruins it for me.

Bottle (500ml). Poured deep bubbly gold with a thick lasting foamy white head. Honey malt aroma, dry grian, very mild stale herbal hops. Taste is similar, nice honey cereal grain, perhaps a hint of metal, the herbal hops provide a mildly bitter finish, and keep it from being cloying. Pretty thick bodied, somewhat syrupy, nicey lively - very refreshing; not amazing, but I’ll get a couple more for beautiful balcony days like today, watching the lovely ladies rollerblading by and the sailboats in the harbour. Winter sucks.
