FrankJohansen (3329), Sabro, Denmark Nov 9, 2005 golden colour with a small white head. Sweet honey aroma. Mild honey taste with hints of malt. Very smooth finish. But compared to fulles usual standard, this is a bit boring. yngwie (4880), Kristiansand, Norway Nov 8, 2005 Bottled at Newcastle, Aalborg. Clear golden with a white head. Sweet, fruity malty aroma. Mild taste of malts and fruity elements with honey towards the end. (051030) saxo (3511), Højbjerg, Aarhus, Denmark Nov 8, 2005 Light, light amber in colour with a peculiar phosphorescence in certain light. Aroma and flavour profiles are nearly identical, with each exhibiting round malt and sweet, slightly floral honey. The palate is nice and creamy. Pretty good stuff, especially for a honey beer.
JFURYCAT (782), East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, USA Nov 8, 2005 The honey content is pretty nice and the beer has a somewhat creamy texture but otherwise it seems like a yawner. hammenlind (738), Sundbyberg, Sweden Nov 5, 2005 Pours amber coloured with a thick white head. Aroma from honey and hops. Flavour is sweet, with clear notes of honey. Some hints of sugar. Somewhat refreshing. Nice bitter finish. harrisoni (6703), Ashford, Kent, England Oct 11, 2005 50cl bottle from Unwins. Amber goldcolourwith thin white head. Hay, honey and honeysuckle blossom on aroma. Some sweetness in mouth followed by zingy hop finish with more honey. Do I like honey beers? Still not sure MesandSim (5790), London, Greater London, England Sep 26, 2005 A Mes rate:
Dusty honey nose. Very "golden" appearance. Honey comes through in the middle too and for a nanosecond i thought it was going to be too much but then it is swept away by the malt. Swift finish that ends up bitter. Better than I thought it was going to be. Sigmund (2197), Hafrsfjord, Norway Sep 12, 2005 500 ml bottle, bought in Denmark. ABV is 5.0%. Golden colour, moderate head, good lacing. Moderate carbonation. Aroma of malts and honey, some flowery notes too. Flavour is honey sweet and mellow but not cloying, fairly well balanced with the Target hops. Nice enough.
