COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A light golden beer with a zesty edge and a hint of honey sweetness, Organic Honey Dew is a naturally palatable brew that finds popularity among lager drinkers as well as ale fans. Itís a popular misconception that only the honey is organic, but in fact the beer is brewed with entirely organic ingredients. It uses organic honey imported from Brazil, plus organic English malt and hops including the First Gold hop variety.

Organic Honey Dew is available in pasteurised bottles and kegs all year round, with a strength of 5% ABV.

500 mL bottle. Golden pour, medium white head. Grainy malt aroma, some honey sweetness. Body is on the lighter side. Taste is fairly light too, not overly sweet with a surprisingly hoppy finish.

Bottle. Aroma washing cloth, pasteurization. Clear golden colour, moderate duration of head. Taste is the same, disgusting. Bad.

Golden colour with a white head. Aromas of malt and honey. The taste does not suffer from too much sweetness from the honey, but is well-balanced, with a good, rich maltiness and pleasant bitterness matching the sweeter honey flavours. A very well-made and well-balanced beer. This is also excellent when experienced on draught. A really nice summer beer, with a high drinkability rating. Fullerís hits the mark again!

Bottle. Pale malts, some honey and a whiff of metallic hops. Quite honeyish flavour with a light sticky texture but not overly sweet. A slight astringency in the finish. I donít like honey beers but this one is actually not the worst one out there.

500ml bottle poured in a Grimbergen chalice. Good beer. The honey smell and taste are very present. A: Very nice dark yellow, a little bit (really bit) cloudy. Reminds me honey. S: Strong presence of honey and malt. T: Pleasant. Not excessively sweet. A bit bitter. M: Balanced. Low level of alcohol is helpful since itís enough "bitter-sweet" (and thatís the trick, right?). D: Honey and hops in the very end. Fair enough, as a Fullerís should be. [ BA Review @ 11/23/2009 ]

The honey was subtle, just gives it a little sweet touch and aroma. Not bad, but nothing special to compel me to drink it.
