COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A light golden beer with a zesty edge and a hint of honey sweetness, Organic Honey Dew is a naturally palatable brew that finds popularity among lager drinkers as well as ale fans. It’s a popular misconception that only the honey is organic, but in fact the beer is brewed with entirely organic ingredients. It uses organic honey imported from Brazil, plus organic English malt and hops including the First Gold hop variety.

Organic Honey Dew is available in pasteurised bottles and kegs all year round, with a strength of 5% ABV.

Nice clear deep golden color with a white head. Caramel and fruity aroma. A bit sweet (honey?) flavor with a well balanced with a fresh bitterness. Nice tasty and easy drinkable beer.

Pours golden with a slight amber colour. Head is quite pronounced, but quickly diminishes after pouring the beer from the bottle. Aroma is quite lager like, some honey notes. Taste is very watery, some carbonation can be felt, slight soir feel with a mild dry finish. Not a good beer. Lacks character.

Served with ice (!) at Pizza Express, Barnes... Pours clear golden with low white head. Aroma of honey, bread, light citrus. Taste is sweet, honey and malt. Light, smooth body with soft carbonation.

UPDATED: JUN 7, 2016 (50cl, Maruhn inter festas 2015 backlog). Flattish pour foreboding: Rather disappointing metallic outcome of an all-organic concept: more artificial honey essence than the real deal’s texture, taking with it, almost down the drain, the gentle ale subtleties of a Fuller’s ale. More lager-like in mouthfeel. Nothing really offensive, except its lack of presence: dusty pollen, grainy sweet thin caramels, watery, some vegetable broth even if its not the shy hops or extract. Might have opened this in the wrong season, but still: Bit of a fluke for this rarely off-target brewery. - Cf.: Bloemenbier, its overyeasty, sticky Belgian counterpart crime. // Rerate sampler BH2: much more enjoyable now, don’t now how: honey sweetness much more tied in with even a lovely tinge of pollen. Drier mouthfeel. Must have been that inter festas palate...

Ours clear gold with a small white head. Smell is very light but with some sweetness and some zest of citrus. Taste is also sweet with scents of honey and light malts. Lacks a little in hops in my opinion but is well drinkable.

Flaske. Farven er lys gyldengul med en let og flygtig hvid skumkrone. Aromaen og smagen er honning, honning og honning med en anelse malt og humle i baggrunden. Honningen dominerer for meget.
