Commercial Description:
Available in pasteurised bottles and kegs all year round.
Organic Honey Dew is the UK’s best selling organic beer. Light and golden with a zesty edge and a bitter-sweet flavour, Honey Dew is a naturally palatable brew that is Soil Association approved as 100% organic.
Served chilled, Organic Honey Dew offers both refreshment and an unbeatable taste. The real organic honey in the brew gives a gentle sweetness that appeals to a wide range of people, even those who perhaps wouldn’t usually drink beer, making it a very popular choice!

Pours a light honey brown with a tiny cap that was reduced to little more then spotty bubbles at the top of my glass after ten seconds very boring uninteresting beer that gave spotty lacing at best. Smell is very sweet and fruity, a floral aspect can also be detected in the aroma, I think most of the fruitiness can be traced back to hops mixed with honey but that’s just my guess. Very bready tasting, malts are abundant in this brew, the sweet berries that you notice in the smell also come through in the taste, my god there’s so much bread in this flavor. Beer is ok just a bit boring, it’s strange I think I can taste a lingering melon aftertaste but I’m not sure if that what it is or am I just being influenced by the bottle. Bottled. Sparkling golden, coarse disappearing head. Honey candle wax nose, metallic notes, sugariness, biscuit malts and slight herbs, pretty mild. Balanced honeyish flavor, herbal hops, a tad rusty, soapy finish. Medium bodied, low lush carbonation. Boring golden ale with some honey on top, guess this could be a bit more adventurous. It’s not really even refreshing.

Bottle. Very sweet, fruity, strong aroma of honey. A little white foamy head and a golden body, looks like a Scotch. Light bitter taste, a little bit fizzy, not sweet. The body is dry with a normal carbonation.

Aroma is very strong and malty. It has that typical fullers ale smell. It looks fantastic. Great golden colour, almost like a glass of honey. Flavour is very sweet and malty. Palate is dominated by honey. All in all, Not bad for a honey beer. But not great.

Smells of malt and honey, but mostly of malt. The appearance might be the most interesting part, hazy and golden with a bit or a red hue to it. The smell mirrors the taste exactly, malty with a bit a of honey but mostly it taste malty. It’s alright, but I won’t seek it out.
