A light golden beer with a zesty edge and a hint of honey sweetness, Organic Honey Dew is a naturally palatable brew that finds popularity among lager drinkers as well as ale fans. It’s a popular misconception that only the honey is organic, but in fact the beer is brewed with entirely organic ingredients. It uses organic honey imported from Brazil, plus organic English malt and hops including the First Gold hop variety.

Organic Honey Dew is available in pasteurised bottles and kegs all year round, with a strength of 5% ABV.

Bottle @ home. Aroma is light honey, malt and caramel. Flavour is malty caramel with a hint of honey. Okay I guess.

Bottle, 500ml. A golden beer with a small white head that fades away almost instantly. Aroma is of honey, spices and hops. Taste is slightly bitter at the beginning and at the end becomes sweet. Maybe too sweet for my taste, although I couldn´t find the honey. It has a lot of carbonation and some astringency.

Bottle, 500ml. Clear golden with an almost nonexistant head. Sweet malt and cereal aroma with hints of honey, spices and grass. Medium to light bodied with moderate to high carbonation. Sweet and with an earthy cereal and herbal character not unlike a German lager. Drinkable, but nothing special.

On tap at the Village Idiot. Gold with some carbonation and a moderate, ever so slightly off white head. Aromas of honey and sweet malts. Tastes are honey and light toffee. Definite honey finish. Overall exceptionally smooth and quite drinkable.

Aroma: honey, caramel, bread malts. Appearance: clear gold, medium creamy white head. Taste: light sweet. Palate: sweets intensify pleasantly, honey notes, malts, light bitters develop, quite lively carbonated for a Golden Ale. Overall: very nice Golden Ale - fantastic honey notes in aroma and palate. Pint at Cat and Canary, Canary Wharf.

Not that bad. I actually bought this one for my wife, but when she found out that it didn’t taste quite as much like honey as she’d hoped, I got to drink it. Pours medium-gold with a two-finger white head. Aromas are indeed of honey as well as of sweet malts and some light lemongrass. The taste is predominately malt, with a slightly more bitter, hoppier finish. The honey taste really does only come through in the late aftertaste. Medium, slightly oily body with pillowy CO2. Decent, although in essence really just like a typical Helles.

Bottle to nonic pint, beer pours a slightly cloudy bright amber with a white head that leaves rapidly. Aroma is faint grassy hops, faint grain bag and a slight note of honey. Pleasant but also hard to find any complexity. Taste is clean malts, grassy/earthy hops and a touch of honey and citrus. Very clean. Palate is crisp, thin bodied, quite enjoyable, balanced well. A really good beer to just drink. Overall, simple but decent.
