TheHulk (106), Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada Apr 28, 2009 Smells of malt and honey, but mostly of malt. The appearance might be the most interesting part, hazy and golden with a bit or a red hue to it. The smell mirrors the taste exactly, malty with a bit a of honey but mostly it taste malty. It’s alright, but I won’t seek it out. cyrenaica (435), Milton, Ontario, Canada Apr 23, 2009 20oz draught

I tried this beer on tap on April 9, 2009 at "Smokeless Joe’s" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a hazy yellow-gold colour with a 1" thick white head. The aroma was grainy malt, some honey, and some hops. The mouthfeel was full-bodied, slightly creamy, and medium carbonation. The flavour was slightly hoppy with some grapefruit flavour coming through. A very refreshing beer which went down easy! chriso (4678), London, Greater London, England Mar 27, 2009 Bottle, from Sainsburys. Best before 21 April 2009. One of those Fullers bottled beers that I have had in the past but not got round to rating, until now. Mid gold colour. The honey is very prevalent in aroma and flavour. Quite soft mouthfeel. Unfortunately, there is a slight papery element, presumably arising from the pasteurisation, which rather compromises the overall impression. Nonetheless, although I am no great fan of honey beers, this was drinkable enough.
Ober (1161), Bommelerwaard, Netherlands Mar 19, 2009 A clear orange colored beer, with big white head. The aroma of honey, flowers with a little caramel. The taste of malt an a little hop bitter. There is sweet honey . It’s dry. The aftertaste is a little bitter with sweets. swiseman (200), Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada Mar 9, 2009 thin head with minimal aroma. mild initial sweetness with noticable hop profile in the finish as sweetness disappears. light body. I didn’t expect much from this, but was pleasantly surprised. tried on a warm end-of-winter day, so it helped that it reminded me of spring. mike1977ok (633), Netherlands Mar 4, 2009 Light, golden colour. Sweet honey aroma. Soft, creamy texture and sweet flavour. Could do with more hop presence.
jetzler (622), oklahoma city, Oklahoma, USA Mar 3, 2009 Bottle, pours a light yellow color with white head. Some aroma of honey and touch of floral flowery notes in flavor finishes a bit dry, Nice as a session brew nothing overwhelming just a quality brew, one of the tamer fullers brews I have had. Gary (352), Buckinghamshire, England Feb 22, 2009 I give props for the creative concept . The beer though ends up feeling too gimicky: The bottle label is a good use of subliminal brain washing. All that yellow highlight & a picture of a bee, Oh yeah you’ve got people wanting this now. I don’t like being told how i’m meant to feel ,thus i’m not being fooled here. The beer is really just a simple bitter/ale with bits of subdued honey texture. The honey is low on fun and its the fucking whole point of the beer. The honey flavours are really like the subtle honey vibes you can get in some Pilseners. I’m outta here...................................
