2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
UPDATED: FEB 6, 2013
Clear golden orange colour with flaky sediments; Smallish to minimal head and very thin white foam which dissipates in 20 seconds. Almost no lacing with lively carbonation; Light, persisting aroma of honey underlying sweetness plus orange and faint malt; Light and comfy sweet taste of honey, faint malt and citrus; Light body, thin palate with no hop bitterness throughout. Slight dry after taste, very easy to mouth.
Comments: this is mild, light-hearted and refreshing. The smell and taste of honey was not as overwhelming as I thought but in a low-key manner. A nice thirst quencher in hot Summer.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clear golden with a medium white head that fades away fast. It does leave some good lacing while it’s there. Nose is of grain, light sulfur and honey. Taste is sweet with nice honey flavors. Fresh cereals also. Not too bitter. Body is light, mouthfeel oily. Carbonation level is medium-high. A fair golden ale.

0,5L bottle, BB 11.2014. Pours clear golden with white head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is metallic, honey, and malt. Taste is sweet, metallic, watery, caramel, and slight citrus. Overall: nothing special here.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
New label, 0.5l bottle from ippopotamo36 found somewhere amongst connections in Kosovo. Thanks mate. Out of order. Smart yellow pour with small white head in to a pint glass. Medium sweet and grain body. Sweet, definitely honey sweet grain. Nice enough, but all sorts of macro notes towards a mainstream Golden ale. Chunky sweetness, amber metallic/acidic note. Not a beer I’d love to have many pints of but it is an interesting beer on its own. And very drinkable. Ruddy grain balances the sweeter honey and light malt body. A nice beer in the end, but sweetness is an issue.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Yellow vanilla white top on the amber to golden body, not 100% clear.
Small spots inside mug.
Aroma is roasted caramel malts and distinct honey scents.
Taste; honey and malts, a few grainy hops soft playing under it.
Easy on palate, somewhat mealy, just slightly, overall okay. Nice carbonation, not too aggressive.
Finishes sweet too, with caramel malts and honey notes. Possible to share one bottle with a partner (but not with persons allergic to pollen). Goes well with sausages, cheese and so on.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Look: Pours with average, thick (small bubbles), white (yellow hue), reminds me on the more fizzy lagers. Good retention, leaves a fine, thick layer, that diminishes with time completely. Leaves very little lacing. Clear, golden with orange hue, lots of carbonation for an ale.
Smell: Hey, light citrus, grainy - reminds me of a dry pilsner with some floral, herbal honey notes and light sweetness. Honey part a bit rancid and with a hint of bitterness.
Taste: Watery start, light medium honey, grain, hay (some very, very light munich-like/caramel hides somewhere) malt middle. More light sweet honey comes out at the end, creates light bitterness with some sweetness that stay with you for a while. Bit metallic towards the end, also some mineral and floral notes stay, but less than in the smell.
Mouthfeel: Light-medium body, pleasant carbonation - lively enough to make the emptiness a bit less empty.
Overall: Basically a floral pilsner with a bit more body. Missing some taste at start, the honey incorporation is very light and subtle, kinda works, but could probably be a lot more.

From a bottle. Pours a very clear golden colour, tiny fast disappearing head, honey aroma, smooth malty flavours with a plrasent mild honey aftertaste. Not too bad at all.

Flaska@Big Ben. Sädig doft. Ganska intetsägande, jaha-ig smak. Om din nästa öl är den sista. Hoppa över denna.

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Average head, yellow. Low carbonation, fresh smell. But the aroma is shallow, the flavors bland and nothing like Fuller’s ales usually are. There is an aftertaste of honey, mild but very present. "Interesting" is a balanced assessment.
