Jeronimus99 (35), Moscow, Russia Jan 11, 2002 God! This beer is really the ’honey dew’! One of the world’s best beer I ever had! Everything is perfect in the body and a honey taste and smell just perfect and up to the point (not too strong but very delicate). I can drink this beer eternally! Hansgruber (16), winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Jun 3, 2008 God created the world then he created adam and eve. the only reason he did is so that we would create this beer for him. Richard73 (37), St Albans, England Sep 26, 2001 Gorgeous Stuff, goes down like liquid Beer Honey, ooohhh, i’m just glad to know this stuff just exists EFC1878 (291), Manchester, Greater Manchester, England Oct 30, 2008 500ml bottle from Tesco. Dark honey colour with tight white head. Nose is, unsurprisingly, sweet with citrus and flower undertones. Initially sweet malt (thought not overly so) it has a complex bitter/sweet/dry finish. Nicely balanced, this is far better than I expected after the horrible experience I had with its former 4.3% incarnation. Fullers have produced one of the few honey beers that isn’t overwhelmingly honey-sweet and I’ll be seeking out the cask version ASAP. CQC (223), Sydney, Australia Jul 13, 2008 Beautiful. Wow... Such a nice smooth beer. Very drinkable - the rating of others obviously indicates that they’re idiots want you traditional booyaa! beers.
Killer drop. well worht the effort Sully (1367), Woolloomooloo, New South Wales, Australia Dec 2, 2003 Obviously the thing to hit you is the pleasant honey nose. The beer is a beautiful brown amber and head is great. It lasts all the way down the glass with good lacing. The honey taste is subtle and well supported by the malt and hops. The back palate gives a residual sweetness and mouthfeel. The Fullers family are talented lads. mutant (854), Melbourne, Australia Mar 20, 2002 Aroma is of hops & honey, colour is dark gold with a weak head. Flavour is fairly bitter with little or no overt honey taste. Finish is delicately hoppy. I guess the honey isn’t used for flavouring as much as for the aroma, to cut down bitterness and thicken the mouthfeel. A refreshing pint which I may have drunk too cold. Undergrad Boozers99 (40), England Feb 17, 2002 This stuff is good the after taste is something special-a honey beer that actually tastes of honey, the perfect outdoor ale on a spring evening
