Orange, frothy off-white head w/ lace. Citruisy hop aroma melds well with honey aftertasty. Good, bitter hop finish, medium body, a nice balanced ale.

Bouteille 500 ml. Texture mielleuse, justement. Équilibre à améliorer. Bref, un gros bof...

5% ABV beer, poured into an english pint glass at home, from a 500 ml bottle. First of all, I love the bottle, the orange and yellow of the label fit great with the brown bottle. On to the beer, which has a deep golden yellow colour, with two full fingers of white, soapy head on top. Good retention and light lacing left on the glass. Aroma is of malts mostly, then a bit of freshly cut grass. Not much difference from a lager, actually. Taste also brings to mind a blond lager, lots of malts again, some hint of cookies/dough, but mostly notes of lightly stale bread, grass and hay.Quite sweet. The mouthfeel is where you can sense the hops, as it is very dry, giving a light numb feeling on the palate. Medium thin body, light carbonation. Overall, great summer beer with enough taste to make you choose this over a cheap macro lager, but other than that, not so much interesting, Fuller’s has better beers to pick up.

Smak och doft av mycket honung och malt. Avrundas med en enkel beska. Lagom söt.

A cool beer, with a agreeable aroma to cereal, caramel, bread and toast malt, lightly floral and grassy, and a distinctive presence of honey, the special feature of the beer. Good appereance, with full gold color, and a clear/sparkling liquid. Medium white and frothy head. It have a great taste for an ale, with medium sweetness, lightly bitter, and a little bit of sourness. Sense to palate are light/well bodied, with a thin and little creamy texture. Medium carbonation, lively but still soft, with a astringent and a little bitter finish.

Clear yellow with white top, looks are fine, smell’s of fruit honey sweet and bread. The taste remind of London pride or ESB but lighter and there is a hint of honey on the background. Satisfying, the smell of honey is strongly present after the glass is emptied but is not particularly otherwise.

Clear bright yellow with quick dissapearing foam head. One would expect koney, but could not detect in aroma. Taste is bit watery, some barley, some sweet. Fresh aftertaste. (Velp 201304)

From the archives: Blond ale with a dash of honey. Honest beer, but is rather watery for my taste. I tried it on several occasions, but it did not stick with me.

Aroma delicioso de mel. Coloração dourada. Espuma cremosa. Sabor leve de mel no retrogosto. Um pouco cara, mas vale a pena. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
