COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A light golden beer with a zesty edge and a hint of honey sweetness, Organic Honey Dew is a naturally palatable brew that finds popularity among lager drinkers as well as ale fans. Itís a popular misconception that only the honey is organic, but in fact the beer is brewed with entirely organic ingredients. It uses organic honey imported from Brazil, plus organic English malt and hops including the First Gold hop variety.

Organic Honey Dew is available in pasteurised bottles and kegs all year round, with a strength of 5% ABV.

From fresh growler. Light yellowy-orange, foamy white head fades very quickly. Strong floral aroma, flowery. Lightly malty taste, pilsner malt, sweet and floral finish with slight honey flavor. A bit of alcoholic dryness, and light bitterness. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Refreshing, sessionable. Aroma is the best part.

Bottle. Gold with a white head. Pleasant but very gentle aroma is grainy with honey and flowers. And itís sweet with a pleasant lick of honey, low bitterness, some floral notes. Finish just leans towards dry enough with whatever it is about honey thatís not sweetness lending a hand. Not the most exciting beer, but itís refreshing and uses the honey well.

15.11.2014. Keg. Clear golden. Basically no aroma. Tastes like lager with starch. Some other beers taste more like honey.

A golden lager with honey and very high white head. Aroma is yeasty, malty, maybe a bit honey? Taste is bitter sweet. Very pearly.

Golden color with small white head. Honey and ale-ish in the aroma. Taste is crisp and honey-ish, smooth ale-ish, but the carbonation is too high. Quite okay.

Bottle from The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) A slightly hazy golden colour with a fizzy white head. Aroma of sweet grain, honey, caramel and some apple citrus. Taste of sweet grain, cereal, subtle caramel, honey and a little bitterness. Light bodied and moderate carbonation. A soft, malty finish. Nothing special, but a light touch of sweet honey which makes it more enjoyable than a standard lager.

I didnít enjoy this one as much as I had hoped (I usually pretty much like organic beer). It probably has to do with the honey aroma being to overruling for my taste.

0,33l bottle from beerbottle.eu. No head. Aroma is neutral, cant smell the honey. Taste is watery at first, the honey can be tasted only at the finish and leaves then a long-lasting, pleasant aftertaste. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
