3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 jackl (389) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 11, 2011
Bottle conditioned pale ale. Light golden color with an off-white head. The nose is of fresh peas, grassy and sweet. The flavors are nicely balanced, sweet with a dry bitter finish. The mouthfeel’s a bit slick and oily. The carbonation is moderate. This is pretty decent, I’m suprised Fullers don’t release it more widely.

A Mes rate. Bottle at the Pride of Spitalfields. Clean gold with a reasonable white head. Strange ashy aroma. Floral and soapy flavour but actually a little better than I was expecting. At least there are some hops in it. Nice and crisp and drinkable. Faint mineral / sulphur notes. Surprisingly ok.
