Small tan head, fair retention and small spotty lace. Brite copper color. Malty, bready nose. Body is med/light. Dry malt flavors. Light lingering hoppiness, crisp with a light earthiness. Finish is dry and a touch fruity.

More of the buttery Fuller’s trademark. Soft and creamy, light hops. Makes a decent session beer. Like it.

275 ml bottle, at The Beehive, Brentford, London. Deep golden colour, moderate head. Aroma like a decent standard bitter. Reasonably hoppy flavour. Not bad for a beer this low ABV.

Bottle. Nobbad for a 3.5%abv beer. Some hop tang and dry bitterness (but not much). Lightly honeyed, with some buttery notes, fairly simple and all that, but swigable.

UPDATED: SEP 27, 2004 Nice color, an amber/copper. Head that dissapates but leaves lacing. Bready and piney aromas. Excellent mouthfeel w/ great carb. level. Very satisfying.

Bottle, 3.1% ABV. This bottle expired in April 2003, so the pub gave it to me free. Copper colour, light carbonation, head soon disapears into nothing. Light, biscuity, bready, barely any bitterness. Very good for a bottle of light.

Poured remarkably clear amber with a luscious creamy white head. A biscuity/malty aroma that was just plain yummy. Way up front malty flavor that was well rounded and followed by just the right bitter finish, without much hop flavor. The yeast lends quite a bit of flavor, quite similar to a newcastle, and a good bit of those buttery diacetyl notes. Pour me another one. Gott-damn, pour me another five!
