An autumnal favourite, Red Fox is tawny red in colour and bursting with delicious malty flavours. Brewed with toasted oats which lends distinctive biscuit notes and a mellow aftertaste.

På fat. Smak och doft av humle, malt, karamell, röda bär med örtiga toner. Lätt kropp, juicekänsla med fin beska.

Cask at the Cross Keys Ravenscourt Park. Orange with a bubbly white head. Smells of yeast, wet cardboard, a hint of spice. Body is light. Taste is light on flavour - mild malts and a soft bitterness, a touch of watered down fruit. Nice enough but doesn’t stand out. A bit watery. 3.2 seems fair because it’s drinkable and quite enjoyable.

Cask, red-brown with a lasting medium off-white head, a little yeast and forest fruit on the nose, nice balance of fresh maltiness with earthy hops, caramel and a tang of blackberry, a touch of the Fullers toast and marmalade in the finish.

Cask @ The Wharf Winter Cask Ale Festival. Pours a copper color with a small white lace. Aroma is of toasted oats, nuts, fruit esters, toffee and biscuit notes. The flavor follows the nose with fruit esters of forest fruits, toasted oats, nuts, toffee and biscuit notes. The body is on the lighter side of medium with a kind of silky mouth feel. Overall an ok brew, but nothing special.

Cask pour at The Red Lion, Uxbridge. One of the lesser Fuller’s beers I’ve had, unfortunately (which may well be because of my general disinterest in this style). Decent reddish-brown pour, though looks a bit on the watery side. Perfunctory biscuit malts and a dash of toffee in the nose. Thin mouthfeel. Flavors are as expected, though just slightly less anonymous than the aroma would suggest. Not getting the McVittie’s that others do, unfortunately. Passable but little more.
