(Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm, 15 Sep 2010) Reddish amber colour with frothy, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, dark fruit and some dusty hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of caramel, dark fruit, red berries and slightly floral hops in the finish. Medium body, with some sweetness. A bit dusty, but nice enough.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Itís only been 3 days and Iím already trying to avoid Fullerís pubs. Theyíve got the market cornered at least on the streets I walk down on the traditional old British pub looking places. So Iíve tried the majority already.
Anwyays, the Fox itself. It was a little sweet, sort of fruity (pears). There was a musty, earthy quality about it (and in a tasty way). itís deep and dark ruby red in color.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask. At Volo Cask Days 2009. I guess I was the only one to love this beer. Hazy amber with a large, lasting fluffy beige head. Dry aroma, mild pine duff, black tea with lemon - the taste followed - lemon/yea, herbal, with light crisp red apple sweetness - quite dry and crisp, lovely. Soft, dry, leafy mouthfeel, a bit still, but really well-balanced with a perfect finish. A lovely, lovely cask! Youíre all wrong.
