On cask (handpump) at the Mad Bishop & Bear, Paddington on 27 April 2011. Dark amber / copper colour. Thin off-white head. Good, lively condition. A fairly straightforward toffee-accented strongish bitter. Quite fruity. Softish mouthfeel. All round rather traditional feel. Decent enough but nothing particularly distinctive here. I didn’t get too excited by the Royal Wedding and I haven’t been very excited by many of the "special" beers brewed to commemorate it. This one is no exception.
2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Bromine (1) - ISLE OF MAN - APR 30, 2011 does not count
Distinctive hint of turkish delight. Not exactly what I’d look for in a beer, but the taste was nonetheless full and rich, with no unpleasant aftertaste or lingering sweetness. Full fruity aroma, not a bad beer, but certainly not a great one.

Hand pulled at the Old Joint Stock, Birmingham. Amber colour. Quite a rather boring malty beer. Some water, salt and rough, moose-like cake crumbs. Not a big flavour. Dull
