Bottled. Golden beer, still with a reasonable head. The aroma is caramel and slightly dry and the flavour is toffee and watery. Overall a disappointing beer.

Bottled. A golden beer with a small off-white ring of head. Some toffeeish malts amidst mild hoppiness. Obvious pasteurisation. A citrussy tinge saves it from being mundane.

Spritzy hops, citrus, hay, and a sweet body. Not particularly daring and a little thin.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 angrybeerman (258) - Dublin, IRELAND - SEP 16, 2009
UPDATED: JAN 2, 2010 Not much aroma here and appearance was clear yellow, with no head. When cold though this tasted good. A nice sweet start with the hops coming in shortly afterwards. Changed to bitter in the finish with a final appearance by the hops following shortly. A bit watery but flavorsome, complex and balanced. Good when chilled aswell.

Bottle from Sainsbury’s. An ok golden ale. Smooth, sweet and soft malts, some citrus, without getting too watery. Slightly sweet finish.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 floydian1 (542) - FNQ, AUSTRALIA - JUN 19, 2009
Bottle. A clear yellow beer with a medium sized white head. Nose is grainy sweet malts with a subtle lemony hop presence. Rather light on the mouth with flavours similar to the nose. Little bitterness in the finish. A reasonable light summer ale with prospects for a good session in the sun. Much better when consumed chilled.

Live at The Penguin. Brilliant straw with a fine snowy collar and dabs of lace. Very Church (End) aroma of pencilly Saaz, struck matches, lemon, hay and honeyed malt sweetness. Mouth creamy with corny adjuncts, honey, white bread Wotsit sandwich and clinging sweet vanilla afters. Likeable maize-accented refresher.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 downender (4389) - Bristol, Gloucestershire, ENGLAND - JUN 26, 2007
Bottle. This was less enjoyable than the cask version. It had the same gold colour and white head, but aroma was a bit stale. It was rather thin in the mouth with a crude sweet flavour. Bland.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Maria (8582) - Thisted, DENMARK - APR 1, 2007
I have tasted this on a few occasions and my rating is pretty much the same every time: A refreshing ale with notes of fruits and flower, it has a tendency to get a bit stale and uninteresting in the end. It hasn’t gotten the same charm and fines as the other Fuller beers.
