COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Seasonal - May to August.
Light, smooth, and refreshing, Summer Ale is pale gold in colour, and at 3.9% alcohol by volume, an excellent quaffing ale. It delivers a flavour most lagers can only dream of, thanks to its all-malt brew (containing malted wheat), and 100% Saaz hops, a Czech variety found in the best pilseners. Like Organic Honey Dew, it should always be served chilled.

Sampled @ GBBF. Clear pale yellow color, small white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, slightly butter, lightly bitter, a faint hint of apple and fruitiness. Low to average body and carbonation.

"A sunny golden ale" - 3.9% but tasted stronger. Nice light golden colour, with a mild hoppy flavour. Aftertaste of creosote and malt not unpleasant. Served quite cold but I needed that: another hot day in London so I was after a thirst quencher.

On tap at the Union Inn in Cowes. Fresh and free with some hops, lemons and grass starting this one off. Bit less carbo than I would have liked. Crispy taste with a bit of bread. Drinkable and refreshing.
