Pale gold, almost no head. Simple, but very full sweet malty aroma.
Pretty simple body, sweet and malty. Almost worty, in a way. Only
simple wet-dog bitterness from the hops. Certainly a fair quaffer, but
nothing interesting to say.

Aroma has goldings hops with toffee and some wheat. Practically no CO2 in palate. Flavour is rather stale with wheat and goldings-toffee. Yet another golden ale and not very good.

Pours hazy pale golden colour with no head. Aroma of light fruits, citrus, grass, light malts and herbal notes. Flavour of light ripe fruits and nothing more. Boring.

Cask at The Anchor Inn. Clear golden - white head. Sour diacetyl nose. Knækbrød. Light honey. Light flowery. Why ???

Cask @ State Bar. Clear golden colour, medium white head. Nose is quite overpowering cooked vegetables and bit of cookie crumble. Flavour is light malted, bit of citrus and initially massive biscuit. Very chewy. Dry and slight vegetable finish.

Cask @ The Bon Accord. Resin aroma. Rich golden colour with a good head. Biscuit, cereal & biscuit flavour. Smooth but a bit watery. Better than other reviewers suggest. Perhaps that is just because I am a golden ale man.

Very refreshing beer - citrusey with reasonable hop character. Easy drinking and pleasant for the season, but not the most exciting.

On cask at The Tass in Edinburgh. A clear golden ale with a thin white head. Aroma of light caramel, barley and yeast. Also a little cheesy. Flavours of caramel and yeast. Very thin with a yeasty linger. Just OK.

Pours browny/amber. Almost no aroma other than a bit of grassy malt. Taste is light malt and very subtle hops. A dull flat ale.

Cask at The Plough and Harrow, London. A golden beer with a thin yellowish head. The aroma has notes of flowery hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, flower, and hops.

(Cask at Kittys, Helsinki, 20110715) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma was fruity and mildly hoppy. Palate was light bodied with low carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was short and bitter. A pretty boring beer with too mild flavours.
