Cask @ Bishop’s Arms Malmö. Colour is Amber. Aroma is fruity and a bit nutty. Has a sweet malty flavor and some caramle hints. Maybe not the best from Fullers.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 ante (3375) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - NOV 1, 2005
(cask at Akkurat, Stockholm) Clear amber with a dissapearing head. Soft malty aroma of toffee, butter and milky chocolate. Butterscotch, light chocolate and milk in flavour. Smooth palate. Medium bitter finish with strong notes of toffee and butter.
3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 omhper (15600) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 29, 2005
Cask at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Brownish amber. Resiny hop aroma. Dry and ligh bodied with a distinct, firm mouthfeel. salty and bready with a finish that mixes orange and bitterness. Another solid, if perhaps unexciting beer from Fuller’s.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 TheGrandMaster (2308) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 29, 2005
Pint pulled at The Whistle and Flute (Putney, London), a light froth with a frothy head. The malty is strong, very biscuity.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 MrWalker (926) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - OCT 28, 2005
Cask @ Akkurat, Stockholm Brown, spicy aroma. Spicy taste with butterscotch and molasses (?). Sweet hoppy aftertast with curry (spice) notes. Might go well with Indian food...
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 Hildigöltur (5107) - København, DENMARK - OCT 25, 2005
Cask conditioned at Charlies. Amber coloured. A fruity, nutty and sweet bitter with a buttery diacetyl touch in the aroma and in the flavour. Not very interesting.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Ungstrup (22911) - Oamaru, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 24, 2005
[Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen] An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and fruit giving it a very slight spiciness. The flavor is also sweet malty with strong notes of caramel and spices - it might be the molasses that gives it the spiciness, though I can’t pick out the molasses. Nice.
2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 SilkTork (4692) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, WALES - OCT 18, 2005
Wallington Festival. Touch of diacetyl is the only interest in this dull as dishwater bitter. Lack of hop bite and a dreary dull malt.
