COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle Conditioned.
The Champion theme was used once again for this classic Vintage Ale with Champion Fuggles and Champion Optic malt. Slightly redder in appearance, this ale is full of body with a sherry-like flavour.

Absolutely fantastic. Very strong alcohol aroma upon opening, not nearly as overwhelming in the taste. I find the scotch qualities quite enjoyable. Very well malt balance. I’m so glad I have another bottle.

NO:09399 I enjoyed this beer in a boat few minutes before sunset @ bisserup harbour DK(homecity). The beer is a beautiful as the sunset, cloudy and dark cobber-golden body, with a large white head. The aroma is filled with sweet hints of fruit and caramel. The flavor spreds all trhough your mouth with a perfect balance between bobles and consistency. It tasts sweet like roasted nuts and caramel, with a bitter feel of malt. A damn good beer. Lucky me - my local beer dealer still has a few left in her beer cellar!

Appearance:Hazy, brown. Nose:Fruity balsamico.Spices. Round. Winy. Mouthfeel:Soft, round, mellow, excellent. Flavor: Very nice toffee. Begins sweet, but dries. Some spices. Sherry. Aftertaste is disappointing. A nice beer, but not so complex as I expected.

18.33 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy reddish-orange with a half-finger off-white head. The aroma is of cherries, raisins, toffee, yeast, malt, etc. The flavor is VERY sweet and creamy of cherries and yeast. Very smooth, lightly carbonated and Very good.

Beautiful red-amber color. Some alcohol nose, honey and malt. Quite bitter mouthfeel, well balanced; a honey touch; the hop is not very aromatic.

Not bad. I was expecting better. I wasn't exactly concentrating while tasting this brew, but didn't stand up to my expectations. It was still a great beer.

I finally got my hands on some. this beer did not disappoint. the beer backs all the hype; full flavored, complex, warming. I drank it at about 58 degrees which is how i prefer a hearty beer. The last little sip i forgot to finish at the end of the night even tasted good the next morning....

Very appealing alcohol/malt aroma. Dark brownish red color, moderate light brown head. full bodied mouth feel.Dominant malt and alcohol flavours. I was somwhat disappointed with this beer. Not as flavourful as I expected it to be.
