Somehow dissapointing after having tried vintages 1999 & 2004 & 2005. A little disturbing burnt taste. Yeast particles which I haven’t seen before. Still quite good.

Bottle. Reddish brown with mostly diminishing light brown head. Dried fruits and some bitter chocolate in the aroma. Slightly sweet malt and more chocolate in the flavor. Rather oily on the palate. Beautifull strong ale.

Bottle. Creamy off-white mostly lasting head. A bit cloudy amber colour. Heavy malty and light hoppy powerfull aroma. Very toffee caramellic flavor. Average finish. Creamy palate.

Bottle. # 20985. Pours a slightly hazy amber colour with a longlasting off-white head. Malty aroma with hints of dark fruits and caramel. Sweet malty warming flavor with lots of dark fruits and some hints of caramel. Long warming malty finish.

Dark, amber colour, unclear, murky. Has a creamy, mostly lasting head, light brown. Aroma of port, tqwny and butter. Flavor is heavy sweet.

Bottle. hazy amber colour with a medium moslty lasting creamy head. Rich aroma and taste of malts, hops, fruits and citrus. Softly carbonated.

(Bottle 55 cl) Pours a hazy, amber golden with an off-white head and huge chunks of yeast. Aroma of sherry, wood and overripe fruit. Full, sweetish body with lots of wood, caramel, toffee and overripe fruit. a bit low in carbonation. A lovely sipping beer. 071206

Bottle. Slightly outdated since it should be consumed before end of 2005. A cloudy beer with a white foam. Tastes of caramel and nuts. Not much hops and no alcohol taste either, especially considering its ABV.

Bottle @ Kookfest. Almondy nutty malts. Fruity finish. Mild hop flavours in this one which werent enought to balance out the sweetness. On the whole not bad, despite being out of kilter.

Bottle at Kookfest 06. Hazy, some floaters, lasting beige head. Nutty, vanilla, less intense hop than the others I tried. Bit more rounded perhaps. Again good hop on the end. Not as a big a fan as the 2000 or 2001
