Bottle at Kookfest 06. Hazy, some floaters, lasting beige head. Nutty, vanilla, less intense hop than the others I tried. Bit more rounded perhaps. Again good hop on the end. Not as a big a fan as the 2000 or 2001

Bottle, 55cl. Bottle # 23378. A lightly unclear one, copper to amber in color and with a minimal sized beige head. Just a layer of bubbles actually. The aroma has caramel, hints of camphor, some oxidation, dried fruits and notes of sherry. Itís warming and lightly bitter on the palate, full-bodied, and with flavors of caramel, beef stock and some oxidation. Lasting finish with caramel, oxidation and some bitterness. A bit dull maybe, but not bad considering itís nearly ten years old. 120106

Reddish color, small firm off-white head. Sweet portwine aroma - very developed. Sweet and roasted taste: coffee and alcohol. Very drinkable.

Bright amber; chewy, malty, earthy, touch of hop. Like the others, but with youth on its side compared with the usual year or two that most people put on these before they drink them.

Bottle. [thank you, Ungstrup]
[at Yesprs tuesday tasting]
Pours lightly red-orange with a fine, creamy, yellowish head. Fine lacing. Aroma is light hoppy, some chocolate, good fat toffee. Super creamy mouthfeel. Flavour has soft port, vinious, light chocolate and a pleasant dose of hops. Super balance, and that chocolate note is truly wonderful.
