500 ml. brown bottle. Part of a vertical tasting held for my close friends. Still awesome! 6 years old, and just hitting itís stride. Tasty beer. Deep copper color, white head. Mostly malts in the flavors of this yearís batch, some hops in the background. It still needs a little aging though.

Bottle from the Fullerís shop. Vinous. Malty aroma with some caramel. Toffee, grain and cereals, round and smooth. The sweetne4ss of the beer and the alcohol combine to make a round and full aroma. Some sharp hops in the tail.

Small offwhite head. Hazy amber body. Caramelly (very!) musty earthy aroma with old books notes. Dry-sweetish wooden caramelly taste with old books and linoleum notes. Mild rounded, smooth mouthfeel. Fullish body. Dry wooden old blanket and paper aftertaste with sugary sherry mint notes. Some sharpish hops in aftertaste. Absolutely outstanding! (0.5l bottle, shared by KnutAlbert.)

Bottle shared by KnutAlbert. Low, mostly lasting white head. Body is unclear, reddish-brown colored. Aroma is quite vinous with a distinct scent of grainy caramel, almost like an american Barley Wine. Taste has a strong malt body, caramelly, soft and rounded. Floral and minty tones, and hint of vanilla, mild pepper, wood and Cherry. A gentle bitterness in the backbone. Warming alcohol and smooth in the mouth. Near full-bodied. Dry, rounded, faint fruity ending. Great beer.

Copper, hazy, thin head. Aroma o toffee, a little leather in this 11 year old bottle, raisins, a very light cedar-like note. Flavor of toffee, an earthy leathery note, nutty notes, some tobacco, raisins. This 2002 vintage is drinking very well in 2013. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500 ml bottle thanks to Kirk. Pours a cloudy copper color with a medium orange/white head. A big dusty nose of yeast and caramel. The flavor is robust with caramel, port, more dust, earthy, sweet oranges, lots of yeast. Really nice, has held up great . The oxidation fits in well.

550 ml bottle @ the Grand Vintage Tasting, Tampere. Pours a mahogany amber colour with a small head. Aroma of chocolate fudge, some bread, orange marmalade and grass. Rich flavour of toasted malts, very strong licorice root notes, bread, salt, syrupy sweetness and some wooden notes. Full bodied. Brilliant stuff. The licorice root notes here are very original for the Vintage Ale series. 12 years old and no signs of aging.
