| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 7, 2007 (Bottle 50 cl) Bottle #34629. Pours a hazy, nutty brown with a small, off-white head leaving some lacework. Aroma of prunes and overripe fruit. Quite full-bodied with lots of dried fruit accents - prunes in particular. The alcohol is extremely prominent in the finish also suffering from a somewhat brutal bitterness making this version less round and subtle than previous vintages. 020707 yespr (12020), Copenhagen O, Denmark

| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 26, 2004 Bottle. Light brown colour, no head. Looks very flat. Semi-sweet, peppery. Could use more flavour. Not good enough for a beer with this high ABV. oh6gdx (8838), Vasa, Finland

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 13, 2005 Shiny copper colour. Aroma is heavy caramel, toasty viennaish malts, a little mineral. The palate is richly caramelly, with lots of brown sugar...rich, syrupy. It has its moments I suppose but isn’t really to my taste.
