A deep intensive aroma that embodies you thoroughly, but the flavor is a little bit too sweet. Still very enjoyable but a little bit overpriced. BückDich (4856), McCall, Idaho, USA

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 19, 2006 #58--- pours out dark brown/red in color with a tan head. this is something i feel may be a little underrated - as this beer was nice, smooth, and really drinkable. it was not very sweet as i was thinking it would have been. still, a decent effort, and my first of their vintage series. i will be buying a few bottles of this while i can. reminds me of 1845 with alot of kick. good beer jsou (20), Plymouth, Massachusetts, USA
