Commercial Description:
A classic Vintage Ale with an aroma which incorporates spicy hop notes with rich fruit character and leads on to a very full malty, fruity, sweet palate which has a surprisingly clean finish coupled with a matching bitterness.
I have handcrafted this beer from the finest Fuggles, Target and Super Styrian hops, Maris Otter malted barley and of course, our unique yeast to create a truly extraordinary unique brew. - John Keeling, Brewmaster

Bottle. Pours out an orange color with a white head on it. Smell is fruity and somewhat bitter. Perhaps it is some hops that are still remaining. Taste is sweet and kind of astringent. Seemingly this lets up as the beer goes on, either that or my palate became adjusted to it. It wasnt good at all at the start, but by the finish I was wishing I had another. Not great, but not a drain pour at all.

Slightly hazy amber with a firm and lasting off-white head. Rich malt aroma with fruity notes, some marmalade and a touch of grassy hops. Dry malty flavour with caramel and biscuit, and just enough hop bitterness for a perfect balance.

Pours attractive ruddy caramel with a thin lasting tan head. The nose is quite a bit of dried fruits and malty caramel. Some apricot standing out as well. The flavor is smooth and malt sweet and dried fruit as well, with a touch of oak in the mid palate to finish. Quite smooth on the palate and dry, lasting fruity flavor with some subtle smoke.

Bottle # 143239. First aroma is leather. Rich leathery notes with some fruitiness and a touch of peat. Upon drinking this stuff explodes into a rainbow of English Ale standards. Leather, caramel malt, a touch of must and some bitterness. Pours amber with tan head. Definitely a winner, and worth the extra cash.

Orange pour, citrus aroma of hops and some honey. Flavor of butterscotch and some lemon, with warm alcohol aftertaste. Good stuff.

500 ml bottle no.119797. Pours out a cloudy orange color with a huge white/apricot colored head. The aroma is very nice; citrus, lemon cakes, yeast, hops, honey and lots of other things. The flavor is excellent; sweet butterscotch and lemon poppy seed cakes, some alcohol warmth, a light bitterness in the finish, hoppy but not aggressive. Leaves you palate bitter and fruity. A very full and soft palate. Very nice. Lots of yeast also.
