3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
500ml bottle #58812. A hazy amber pour with a white head, biloowing at first, but settling to a thin layer; orange marmalade aroma; rich orangey flavour with lots of mellow alcohol that leads to a dry, bready, and warming finish. This seems much drier than other vintages Iíve tried.

Found a stray bottle at the Yellow Store in San Marcos. Pours a cloudy brownish amber with a rapidly dissipating off-white head. Aroma of caramel, raisins, bread, and overall sweet fruitiness. Tasteís like bread covered in jelly with alcohol. Medium bodied, a little boozy, and smoothly carbonated.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
This is worldís better than the 2011 version - maybe if Iíd had the patience to age that one for 4 years, it would have tasted more like this. This smells of tangerine without the tang, strong alcohol and hops. Carbonation is soft and sublime. There is some sweetness, blackcurrant-like and a hint of bitterness in the taste. Oakiness grow on the intake of air on the tongue after tasting. Wish I had more to say but Iím too busy enjoying the drink. Huge thanks to HogTownHarry for this one - the Mexican swag I gave him certainly didnít merit this in trade.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle at Chrisoís Fullers-Gales Tasting (thanks to Chris). It pours clear amber, with a thin off-white head. The nose is wood, tinned fruit (pear, melon, nectarine), brown sugar and spice. The taste is spice, fruit cake, alcohol warmth, leather, residual sweetness of tinned fruit, with a dry finish. Much dryer in the mouth and spicier than previous vintages tasted. Full body, moderate carbonation and sticky mouth-feel. Good.
