Clear medium amber color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, fresh berry, prune. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Way to young have to more mature, before drinking. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090804]

Bottled. A slightly hazy red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, toffee, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of bread, malt, toffee, and some fruits, leading to a sweet and dry finish.

50 cL bottle, # 26940 - a bit of a joke calling this limited edition. Pours clear and golden deep orange with a fine white head. Aroma is mild apple, abricot and peachy hops with a light toasted malt note. Sweet caramel malty flavoured with a nice hops counterbalance. Mild warming alcohol flavour into the finish. Smooth and light fruity brew.

Cask@GBBF2009. Deep amber colour, not much head. Aroma is mild yeast along with alcohol, caramel malts, liquorice, toffee and vanilla. Flavour is caramel malts, some vegetably and quite sweet wooden notes. Quite nice.

UPDATED: MAY 23, 2010 Bottled. Clear dark amber, faint head. Resiny nose with some seville orange and plenty of alcohol. Sweet with clean mouthfeel and medium-full body. The hard malt marries ill with the resin. The lack of malt depth leaves more room for alcohol to shine through. Piney resiny bitterness. Feels primitive and rather harsh. I mean it’s not really bad, but it’s not what it pretends to be either.

Bottle at KØ10. Hazy red colour. The flavour is sweet. Good alcohol burn. Nice maltiness. Tastes good now, in 2010.

Wonderful look, amber color with a thick creamy head. As I’ve been used to in these recent years, the aroma is mostly disappointing: vegetables, cabbage, dust, alcohol and just light caramel. Strong body, with oily mouthfeel; average caramel flavor; the final is oily and nutty. Correct bitterness. This beer ain’t get any better in a few years.
