COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
I have crafted the 2010 Vintage with the highest quality Tipple malted barley for the second year running. This aleís main hop character is derived from traditional Golding and Fuggles hops and further enhanced with Dry Hopping, using a blend of the choicest Golding and Target hops. Coupled with the unique Fullerís yeast strain we expect this beer to mature into another íClassicí Vintage! 125,000 bottles produced

Pours a hazy red, and has an off-white head with good retention and some nice lace. Lovely fruity aroma - smells very strongly of strawberries. Intensely fruity taste - strawberries again (more like cooked strawberries) becoming just a bit more tart towards the finish, and ending on well-blended herbal hop notes. Not at all sour, though. Moderately creamy body, decent carbonation (I re-poured this into a different glass half-way through pouring it from the bottle, so the carbonation was likely reduced in the process, slighly). Very, very pleasant - probably the fruitiest FVA ever.

Interessant bier.

Hazy orange, complex fruity and malty flavor and aroma, very smooth. Can taste target, fuggles and Golding hops. Great beer, more like a cognac than Golden Pride. Will try it again, definitively.

Copper in colour with a moderate off-white head, good lacing. The aroma is of alcohol, some vanilla, caramel malts and even a bit of liquorice. The flavour is of light alcohol, some chocolate, caramel malt sweetness, moderate bitterness. Lightly sweet mouthfeel, medium body, moderate carbonation. Finishes long and sweet with some alcohol warmth. Its good but like all the Vintage Ales the do get better after a few years.

Bottle no. 106077. Pours a clear ruby color with a small white head. A Fullers nose of yeast, toffee and fruit. The flavor is medium toffee, more yeast, marmalade, some really nice port elements, fruity hops, a very sweet version pushing toward a BW, a bit of hops all through. Very solid beer as always with this series.

Pours reddish caramel with a small light beige head. Smells of caramel, toffee, hints of candi sugar. Taste is sweet, caramel, toffee. Full-bodied with a silky texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Fullerís Vintage Ale 2010 finishes with a lingering sweetness.

Bottle at home, from the brewery, #89145 16/03/14. Slow gusher warning - first time Iíve had that with a Fullers Vintage ! Very lightly hazed rich amber with a good sized beige head that soon collapses to a thin covering mid glass. Nose is rich caramel, light booze, dark fruit, woody, prunes, dates, pinch of spice, nutmeg. Taste comprises mellow dark fruits, fruit cake mix, dates, prunes, candied dry fruit peel. Medium + bodiment, fine carbonation, sweetish licks in the close. Ok stuff, left this one going for a good 80/90 minutes and the taste never really developed. Decent enough but far from the best in this range maybe try another one in a few years?
