COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
I have crafted the 2010 Vintage with the highest quality Tipple malted barley for the second year running. This aleís main hop character is derived from traditional Golding and Fuggles hops and further enhanced with Dry Hopping, using a blend of the choicest Golding and Target hops. Coupled with the unique Fullerís yeast strain we expect this beer to mature into another íClassicí Vintage! 125,000 bottles produced

Glowing copper with orange tints and a bit of off-white head. Mildly sweet malty aroma. Full bodied and well balanced all-around, all the malt, yeast and hop flavors really blend well together. Moderately sweet-meets-dry maltiness spiked with dryer hop edges; a touch of alcohol toward the end and a nice lingering finish. A nice strong ale.

Pours reddish caramel with a small light beige head. Smells of caramel, toffee, hints of candi sugar. Taste is sweet, caramel, toffee. Full-bodied with a silky texture and soft mouth-carbonation, Fullerís Vintage Ale 2010 finishes with a lingering sweetness.

Bottle at home, from the brewery, #89145 16/03/14. Slow gusher warning - first time Iíve had that with a Fullers Vintage ! Very lightly hazed rich amber with a good sized beige head that soon collapses to a thin covering mid glass. Nose is rich caramel, light booze, dark fruit, woody, prunes, dates, pinch of spice, nutmeg. Taste comprises mellow dark fruits, fruit cake mix, dates, prunes, candied dry fruit peel. Medium + bodiment, fine carbonation, sweetish licks in the close. Ok stuff, left this one going for a good 80/90 minutes and the taste never really developed. Decent enough but far from the best in this range maybe try another one in a few years?

This one is a decepcion as it is very much like the basic beer kit i made home and really not too good.

(bottle) Hazy, amber colour with a short and tanned foamy head. Vinous fruity aroma with notes of walnuts, shades of alcohol. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, full bodied with a pleasant carbonation. Dried fruit character with caramel, nuts, slightly vinous mouthfeel; lasting sweet and delicately bitter finish with notes of dried figs, but also an obvious touch of alcohol. 25.IX.13

Fullers Vintage Ale 2010 has an extremely thick, soapy, cream-colored head, an opaque, orange or bright amber appearance, lots of bubbles clinging to the side of the glass, and large lacing splotches left behind. The aroma is of rich, sharp, bread crust, caramel, metal, cellar mold, and slightly turned fruits, like dates or figs. Taste is of all those elements, with sweetness and a fairly noticeable bitterness to balance it out. Mouthfeel is thick and viscous to an extent, and Fullers Vintage Ale 2010 finishes mostly dry, a bit alcohilic, rich, and sip-able. Overall, I am really glad I tried it. RJT

Nice creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is kind of neutral and slightly metallic, caramel malts, metal tank, nuts, hay, hints of butterscotch and almond cake. Taste is slightly sweet, caramel malts, hay, nuts, grass, toffee, almond essence, butterscotch. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Fair enough.
