4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Aroma of mellow citrusy hops and pine, slight yeastiness. Pours a amber orange colour with a white lasting head. Lively mouthfeel and a long finish. Nicely hoppy but balanced. Fruitiness comes through and leaves a long bitterness. Slightly peachy and a hint of marmalade. Theres a touch of alcohol warmth but mainly well hidden for the strength and style. Very good indeed!

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
50 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK via Waitrose. Medium amber, balanced aroma with caramel, cereal and an herbal citrus. Very smooth, no pronounced alcohol, orange zest comes through then a resin bitterness at the very end. More nuanced than 1845, less xmas pudding-ish, mellower. Nice.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml bottle from the LCBO. christmas eve tradition, fresh Fullers Vintage. pours clear deep orange with a small but steady tan head. masterfully bottle conditioned. ornage peel and pale malt nose, touch ofalcohol, slightly woody. the flavour is well balanced with the malt body supporting the hops. this is the hoppiest fresh vintage ale ive had in recent years but the alcohol is still very upfront at this stage. way better then 2010 but still not one of the better years of Fuller Vintage.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle form Sainsburys. Tasted alongside the 2010 version. Deep amber in colour with a decent, off-white head. Sweet, caramel and red berries aroma with a touch of spice. Flavour was sweeter than the 2010, with plenty of fruit cake sweetness, barley sugar and nuts, leading to a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, bought @ LIVA, Kolding.
Very lovely pour. Completely clear amber with a red tint, frothy, off-white head on top. Aroma has sweetness, caramel, leafy notes, pine, floral, red berries (strawberries). Medium carbonation, creamy and tight mouthfeel. Flavour has good caramel sweetness base, lots of floral hops. Some walnuts, a touch of almonds. Lingering, quite bitter finish. It does feel like itís in its infancy, but itís still a very good beer.
