3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Orangish amber, copper, foamy creamy head the kind that sticks fully to the glass and slowly decends with no lacing-yes creamy, used a Sam Smith 20 oz english pint glass.Seems pretty carbonated but not too much. Clear.
Aroma has some dry wood oak, wisky or bourbon, some complex fruit like cherry, darkberry, fig or raison, some peppery spice notes ,some mild malty carmel and breadiness.Vanilla.
First drinks cold I noticed some funkiness like barnyard but that seemed to disapeer almost if not completley. Overall tone has oaky wisky tones, this is smooth creamy malty, with fruit notes some dryness, very slight alcohol but a wisky kind of alcohol. Has some of the complexity of aroma as well, nice medium full body good maltiness with a dry woody finish. Hop bittering is kinda grassy/pepper but smooth, leaving it oaky dry also. Some slight barn yard funk shows off and on. Not the usuall englishy thing,it seems replaced with dominating malt, with slight funk.I guess there is some vanilla butteryness to it but not like the usual diacytal bombs.

Sweet raisins fidges and prunes together with nice fruityness. Flavor is rich of malts caramel sweetness bitter hops fruits raisins and pungent peppery tones with some underlying touch of warming alcohol. Finishes longlived bitter malty and warming alcohol. Well balanced, enjoyable.

50cl bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy dark copper to light amber color, small off-white head that disappears quickly. Smell malts, a bit sweetish, slightly leather, hazelnut, a hint of wood. Taste malts, some sweetness, some wood, nuts. Lightly dry finish, slightly sugary stickyness. Medium body and carbonation. Nice one.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
A clear orange/amber colored beer, with a thick foamy off white head. The aroma of sweet fruits, orange/mango, some spices with hop. The taste of tonsil, fruits like orange with caramel. A little bitter. The aftertaste is sweet, a little sticky and hints of bitter.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle... Clear amber ale with a mid-sized, pillowy, off-white head. Excellent retention. Iíll be damned if it doesnít smell pretty much like orange marmalade - as the label states. Unfortunately, I donít like orange marmalade. Full-bodied with an oily mouthfeel and modest carbonation. The flavor offers an oddball mťlange of sweet toffee, Karo corn syrup and fruitcake. Finishes sweet. Not nearly as complex as past vintages. Carefully constructed, but mundane, lifeless and uninspired.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Good but bit mild aroma has caramel, bit fruits. Clear copper, long beige head. Taste is great: toffee malting balanced by crisp hoppiness, long tasty finish, feel is round and full, has bit sweetness and dry elements in balance. Very good beer, nice balance, gerat flavors.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Clear amber body with a creamy fully lasting off-white head. The aroma delivers a complex nose, with both hoppy and malty notes, sugar, and red fruits. Sweet and bitter are well balanced, more on the bitter at the end. The taste is also between hops and malts, with an oily texture and a flat soft carbonation itís a very pleasant beer at every time.
