The 2012 Vintage Ale, our 16th, is brewed with three of this yearís finest hop varieties including, Goldings, award winning Sovereign and Target hops. These combined with our unique yeast and organic barley grown by Sir James Fuller on the Neston Park Estate result in a wonderful limited edition brew that has a luxurious flavour.

Individually packed and numbered, this bottle is one of only one hundred and twenty five thousand produced

Although we are obliged to state a best before date of 2015, like a fine wine or whisky, this mellow golden ale will improve with age for many more years

Being bottle conditioned, the beer will form a natural sediment, so pour carefully, sit back, and enjoy this, the very finest of Fullerís ales.

Bottle shared by Joes @ weekly tasting. Vertical 04-09-10-11-12-13. A bit lighter in color than the 2013 version. Aroma and taste malts, tea, leaves, lightly bitter but also a touch of sweetness and some alcohol. Medium body and carbonation.

Bottle 49226 from Waitrose. Amber in colour with a decent, off-white head and slight carbonation. Warming alcohol on the nose along, with sweet, jammy fruits and a touch of cereal malt. Not too full in the mouth, with more sweet red and orange fruits, solid malts and a bitter finish, with more alcohol warmth. Enjoyable.

Pours a reddish brown color with a large foamy canvas colored head. Notes of butterscotch, dark fruit, licorice, earth, and fruitcake. Feels over carbonated.

Fantastic stuff. Nice thick orange pour with a great sweet toffee aromas. I get a candied citrus type flavor in there too. This is very smooth. Sweet Honey and dried fruit flavors with enough hop presence to keep if from being cloying. Well executed ale.

Bottle no 82042. Pours slightly hazy amber with small very light tan head. The head disappears immediately. Aroma is intense dried fruits, sweetness, hints of alcohol, caramel. Taste: fruits, sweetness, dark plum bitterness, caramel, noticeable alcohol but not overwhelming. Lingering bitter finish leaves nice alcohol warmth in the mouth. Overall: nice fruity and bitter

UPDATED: DEC 25, 2014 Bottled, 0.50l. Hazy amber orange color with large creamy tan-like head and good lacing. Aroma of herbal hops, dried fruits, caramel malt, vanilla and alcohol. Taste start with rich sweet caramel malt, nuts and strong alcohol, following is fresh fruity with spicy mouthfeel, lingering bitter finish and long malty aftertaste. Full body, thick texture and average natural carbonation in palate. I like these series...

500ml bottle at home, from the breweryís online shop. Pours clear pale copper, nice tight white head. Aromas of marmalade, fruit cake, uncooked fruit-cake mix in fact. Light spice and raisin. Taste has warming alcohol, spice, sweet dark sugar, and a cleansing finish. Glad Iíve got (I think) one more of these to age, as I think the raisin notes will come to the fore, and be great in a few years time. Lovely stuff.

Very nice indeed! I wasnít sure what to expect, but this beats any expectations I could have had. Basically imagine an awesome english ale, like, lets say, a supercharged London pride. However the "one of only one hundred and twenty five thousand produced", yes, 125,000! is quite comical, hardly limited.
