COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, Released August 2012.

The 2012 Vintage Ale, our 16th, is brewed with three of this year’s finest hop varieties including, Goldings, award winning Sovereign and Target hops. These combined with our unique yeast and organic barley grown by Sir James Fuller on the Neston Park Estate result in a wonderful limited edition brew that has a luxurious flavour.

Individually packed and numbered, this bottle is one of only one hundred and twenty five thousand produced

Although we are obliged to state a best before date of 2015, like a fine wine or whisky, this mellow golden ale will improve with age for many more years

Being bottle conditioned, the beer will form a natural sediment, so pour carefully, sit back, and enjoy this, the very finest of Fuller’s ales.

Bottle no 83207. Copper body with a tall head. Aroma has English hops and caramel. Taste is quite sweet with more caramel and fudge but the hop level keeps up with the sweetness. As half of the bottle is gone the sweetness starts becoming more apparent and takes control. This is obviously made for cellaring. I still prefer 1845 over the Vintages.

My wife grabbed this for me at supermarket along with a steak and asparagus as a way of saying your on your own tomorrow it all worked well together. Pours orange with one finger head and nose of malt and caramel although faint. Tastes of dried fruits and dried wood, caramel, plenty malty, resin, hop bitters, a little rock candy finish. Sweet on finish that Lingers.

500ml bottle, No. 57161, bought at The Fullers Brewery Shop last November. Served in a tulip glass after one hour in the fridge. Close to clear, amber coloured body. Cloudy last pour. Frothy, off-white head, spotty lacing. Satisfying duration. Floral, pale malts, and died fruity nose. Fine blend of resinous hops, grapes, and fresh citrus to the taste buds leading to a rather fresh bittersweet finish with noticeable alcohol. Clean and warm on the swallow. Nice sipper watching TIL and Brann on TV at home in Tromsø, 20.05.2013.

Really nice malt and caramel character. Very nice body--interested in seeing how this one will age. Excellent, smooth, and tasty beer. Well brewed.

God søtlig lukt og smak. Avbalansert smak med lite karbonering. Godt øl, men mangler særpreg. Årgang 2012. Melkebaren.

Bottle numbered with #02587 from Vika enjoyed at home
Deep copper red, thin tanned head. Smells of fruity yeast esters, spices, malts and hints of hops. Heavy sweet, quite malty, fruity flavors, berries and some yeast. Moderate bitter finish. A quite excuisite brew. Just amazing how fruity and malty this is; all in harmony. Smooth mouthfeel and soft carbonation

Bottle #43556 Pours a hazy orange/copper. Aroma is strong toffee and overripe apricot & raspberry. Taste is caramel, sticky dried fruit, spices. Mild carbonation. A pleasure <in my penile region>.
