The 2012 Vintage Ale, our 16th, is brewed with three of this yearís finest hop varieties including, Goldings, award winning Sovereign and Target hops. These combined with our unique yeast and organic barley grown by Sir James Fuller on the Neston Park Estate result in a wonderful limited edition brew that has a luxurious flavour.

Individually packed and numbered, this bottle is one of only one hundred and twenty five thousand produced

Although we are obliged to state a best before date of 2015, like a fine wine or whisky, this mellow golden ale will improve with age for many more years

Being bottle conditioned, the beer will form a natural sediment, so pour carefully, sit back, and enjoy this, the very finest of Fullerís ales.

UPDATED: JUN 2, 2013 Pours copper with a nice head that receeds fast. Aroma is basically alcohol and some grains. Light toffee flavors with brown sugar and no noticeable alcohol burn. Easy drinking with low-med carbonation, An OK barleywine overall.

Bottle 56220 from The Parcel Yard. Pours rich dark amber (or ripe apricot?) with a beige head. Aroma is fruity with some rich roasty malt support. Near full bodied. Flavor is rather roasty malt, but very smooth, some slight darkish fruits, The hopps are a bit earthy as well as fruity. Sometimes a quaff seems to be fresh light stone fruit juice. Sometimes the hops seem a bit oxidized (which I believe to be a signature of the series and one reason I love it). Ale to cherish. I think the finish is not dry, but I think it qualifies as bitter. Love it!

Bottle, #112830 - big foamy head, nice dark copper color, sweet fruity aroma and flavor, with a strong caramel like malt backbone, pretty smooth finish, very good overall for sure ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16.9oz bottle at Fleet Street Pub - fire alarm is over. Nose is bread, caramel and some hops I recognize but canít identify (something youíd find in an oktoberfest). Easy to drink for 8.5%. Not worth the price but still tasty.

Burnished amber colour, a skim of cream coloured head and a persistent set of trails of carbonation. The aromas are of lush stonefruit, rolled sweet pastry and autumnal orchard fruit, even some pecan nuttiness. Itís a rich front and this comes through into a silky, oily, slick mouthfeel that is just so elegant, it deserves to be clad in ermine. There is a generous dollop of sweetness, but it isnít cloying at all. Each sip brings a sigh of happiness, but I might just be a sucker for this style.

Ganske lækker kvalitets specialudgave øl fra Fullers. Lidt sød nok pga den høje alkoholprocent. Men en rigtig dejlig oplevelse - dog alt alt for dyr...

UPDATED: AUG 4, 2015 Bottiglia 25968 aperta il 29 Marzo 2015. Color ambrato con discreta persistenza della schiuma. Corpo medio-pieno, poco carbonata. Al naso e al palato sentori di caramello e vino liquoroso, uva passa e albicocca matura, note legnose, sul finale si percepisce il luppolo e l'alcol che scalda la bevuta. Decisamente buona, da provare.
