Mass online tasting, beer number 3 . Bottle No. 093438 from Waitrose. Copper beer with small head. Aroma is fruity hops, some caramel and rich malts. Taste is quite warm with the alcohol, some fruity hoppiness again, rich malts, wood, caramel sweetness and a little cloying treacle. Medium bodied with a touch of oil and moderately carbonated. Some alcohol warmth in the finish. Nice. Will try the other bottle on my 40th Birthday, three and half years to go.

500 ml bottle. #029486. BBE 2023. (Alko) Tampere, Finland.
Let’s give it a go probably still too fresh. A slightly cloudy amber colour with a small off-white head. Sweet malt, sugar, nuts, sweet hops and some fruitiness in the aroma. Quite sweet. The flavour is fresh hops, sweetness and mild bitterness. This needs ageing. I must buy another bottle to be enjoyed in ten years. To be revisited...

Pours amber with a white head that dissipates quickly. Taste of caramel dried fruit and wood with a light hoppyness. I’ve had 2008 thru 2013 now...this was my least favorite.

Bottle, LCBO. Pours a nice dark brown with an initially lively large foamy head, that quickly dissipates. Sweet caramel, some booze, lots of bread and wood notes in aroma. Same in taste - lots of caramel sweetness, especially in finish. Hops a little more aggressive than usual and this one is very very hot fresh - really boozy. Body seems a bit thin and watery. Long booze burn to finish. Built to age - pretty raw right now. Has potential.

Bottle 027093. Deep amber pour with a thick off-white head. The aroma has a soft sweet malt backbone. Light apricot/peach fruitiness with a bit of citrus and light plum sweetness. The hop profile is moderately spicy with a touch of light woodiness. Quite fruity with a light malt sweetness. Alcohol is very well hidden. A nice brew - I’d like to try it in a few years. Will have to lay a few down.

161113. Bottle at home. Pours deep clear ruby with a disappearing head Aroma berries, almost a bit cider like. Medium low carbonation, although better than last year. Also less juice like, but still rather sweet. Not Bad.

Bottle 500 ml # 058814
Aroma: solid blend of caramel with sweet plum, hinted with hop laced apricot.
Appearance: poured as clear amber with medium plus bone white top. Pleasant look of lace on glass walls.
Taste: soft sweet fruity syrupy base with light hop hinted backing. Alcohol quit muted, quiet different than previous renderings.
Palate: medium bodied with average carbonation, average lifespan

Bottle. Amber, small to average and fully diminishing head. Moderate malty and sweetish aroma, caramel, some caramel and some dark fruitiness, faint alcohol. Body is medium to heavy, malty and sweetish flavor, some caramel and some dark fruitiness - berries, light hoppyness and faint alcohol. Finish is average to long, malty and lightly sweetish, light caramel and light fruitiness - berries, some herbal hoppyness and light alcohol. Quite light-bodied for strong ale. Thanks to to hoppyness and alcohol in the finish this one is not too sweet.

Fuller's håller alltid vad dom lovar, en härligt hög lägsta nivå. Smakar precis som en engelsk Ale ska göra och när Sverige slagit Portugal ikväll kommer jag gå in och höja betyget avsevärt... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Melko hyvä vahva britti, mutta hieman raa’an oloinen. Humalointia tuntuu olevan melko reilusti.
