Poured a hazy, deep apricot amber with a thin offwhite head. Citrus and caramel notes. Lively carbonation. Sweet up front. Moderately bitter finish. The alcohol is evident, but not over powering. Nice.

Poured a deep garnet. Medium head with great lacing. Slight tart in the mouth that I’ve not seen in previous vintages. Take takes a few points off the overall score of a great beer..

500ml bottle, #102908. Malty, fruity aroma, sweet and rich with notes of caramel, toffee, dried fig, berry, hop spice and toasted bread. Attractive, mostly clear medium orange-amber in color with a lasting, very fine, off-white head. Flavor profile is full of raisin, fig and plenty of dark caramel malty sweetness, with overtones of strawberry jam and tropical fruit, featuring a mildly bitter, spicy, lightly herbal hop note towards the finish, which shows some lingering spice, dried orange peel and berry. Smooth, full and gently warming on the palate, with a full, silky body. Outstanding.

Bottle to celebrate MiP’s 14K rating :-) Pours slightly hazy orangeish amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of yeast, malt, fruit and caramel, with notes of hops. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt and fruit, complemented by bitter, hoppy notes. Bitterish and slightly sweet aftertaste. Warming alcohol presence. Decent. Congrats MiP, keep rating!

500ml bottle. Pours a hazy amber/caramel with a half finger head. Aroma has awesome malty sweet notes of caramel, bread, slight dark fruits, and slight holiday spice and roast. Very nice. Taste is sweet but not cloying. Raisins, caramel, bread, dark fruits, and a bitter ending. Medium-full body with a low carbonation. Slightly syrupy but texture with a bone dry finish. Overall a really nice beer. Sweeter dark fruits, raisins, caramel, slight roast, bread, and a super dry finish.

Malty caramel nose with a touch of molasses and orange peel. Sweetish, with a bitter backing. Full, creamy body with a pleasant bitter finish. Great effort. Maltiness well-balanced by the bitterness. A lot of flavor packed into an 8.5% beer.

Bottle from cellarbrations super store in hami hill. Pours hazy orange with minimal head. Body is full with mild carbonation. Aroma is very malt driven. It has loads of honey mixed with booze, brown sugar, apricots, orange and nuts. Taste is fairly similar. Begins quite sweet which develops into lots of boozyness. Along with subtle hints of dried apricot and orange comes dried nuts, slight caramel and slight toffee. A warming burn of booze in the throat creates for a dry, slightly sweet, nutty finish. Nice beer.

Bottle. Lovely hazy deep orange with a soft persistent golden head. Rich doughy malts, sponge toffee, orange peel, sherry high notes. Very smooth and balanced, a joy to drink. One of the best vintages in recent memory.

UPDATED: MAR 14, 2015 Bottle. Pours hazy orange with foamy beige head, bit soapy. Aroma is seriously malty! Jam, sweet, dried fruits, malty caramel, honey, slight booze. Taste is sweet, malty, bread, toffee. Medium to full bit sticky body with slight toasty finish and slight bitterness. Some alcohol in finish too. Could have used a year ore two more aging. Great port aroma as it warms.
