floral, amber, clear, white foam, light sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body, thin feel, average carbonation, i normally like a beer from the fullers brewery but this is exactly what it says on the label (river water) and that is what it tastes like horrid tastes like river water

Pours golden with minimum head, smell is strong, fruity, hoppy and moderately fresh. But the nice sensation of the aroma is not reflected in the taste of this beer, because it somehow lacks the required balance, that I would expect from an APA. It can be described as a not so good copy of Adnams Ghost Ship.

Bottle from local distributor. Orange golden color with medium white head. Not very pleasant aroma of malt, oranges and yeast. Taste, sweet malt, oranges, orange zest, tangerines. Fruity finish with light hoppy bitterness. Forgettable beer.

Golden, clear, small head, dry hops in the aroma. Quite similar to ESB, but the body is simply lighter

Bottle. Lots of biscuits and some toffee, seasoned with zesty US hop notes. Lemon, lime, orange zest, all mixed together. Balanced taste, with neither the malts nor the hops dominating. Not too much hops used for flavour and bitterness, and given additionally the slightly earthy finish, this sessionable beer has an English soul. Very good.

djoeye (1694) - Tromsø, NORWAY - OCT 27, 2014
Bottle. Clear yellow golden body with white top. Nice lacing here and there. Aroma; fresh caramel malts, lemon, sour fresh plums, grassy wet hops, notes of fruit tea. Taste; citrus hops, fresh juicy resin, sharp but fresh roasted malts, dark barley malts, grapefruit peel, hints of ash. Finishes with hops still alive, and sometimes roasted barley malts kicking in. Alright body for the style and abv, soft carbonation. Fresh citrusy-ashy APA with fine label and bottle, should be continued. Nice pal to dinners, snacks, sports, and even bisquits.
