Bottle from Sainsburyís, consumed at home. Mid-gold with a decent sized but short-lived white head. Hints of grapefruit and lemon peel through the metallic chemical smell. A bit of gardenia and grass. Bittersweet taste with a bit of sulphur and TCP. Aggressive carbonation. Damn filtered bottled beers. I would imagine this is pretty good in cask but the bottled version is not so great.

Its appearance is very nice and palate, too. High cream and bitter taste make it better for the ale lovers!

50cl bottle at home. Pours clear golden with thin, diminishing, creamy white head. Good lacing, slightly thin bodied for an APA, oily texture, bitter finish with strong aftertaste. Aromas of flowers and citrus, a bit weak though. Taste is hoppy, with hints of lemon, pineapple and citrus peel. Does remind me the character of a lager with a hoppy twist. Canít say I found similarities to any of my favorite American brewers, despite what the brewery claims. So, not the typical APA, in my humble opinion, yet decent refreshing ale.

Weak floral and citrus aroma. Crisp, moderately bitter taste, with a somewhat metallic and dryish aftertaste. Medium body, smooth on the palate. Would be really similar to a mediocre Pilsner, werenít it for the weak citrus notes. Nice mouthfeel and decent aroma, but really bland taste to be honest.

Bottle 50cl. Clear golden color, small and thin foamy off-white head, mostly diminishing, patchy lacing; fruity nose, grapefruit, lime, floral, pine; taste medium sweet and bitter, hoppy, pale malts; medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation; lingering dry bitter aftertaste, citrusy, herbal notes; pleasant and well-hopped pale ale.
