Bottle. Amber beer with a strong white head. The aroma is well hopped with yeastiness, and the flavour is strongly bitter with some toffee'ness and a long bitter finish. Overall a nice very bitter and toffee amber beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear golden appearance. Light fruity taste. The happiness is muted allowing for a good bitter sweet balance. Overall quite malty and smooth.

You can instantly smell the American hops which is unusual for a fullers beers as they usually nest in the background. The colour is pale yellow. Pine and citrus in the aroma , more towards the pine side . Taste is dry on the mouth the hops taste fresh, almost to prominent similar to a dry hopped home brew. Maybe needs balancing slightly has the mouth feel is a little overpowering and bitter

Bottle - Golden in colour. Hoppy; grassy hops, which I assume are the source of a rather odd metallic taste. Fruity; citrus lemon and slight grapefruit. Malty; buttery, grainy malts, caramel. Bitter hoppy citric with buttery malts, but rather overwhelmed by an odd metallic taste. I am usually a Fullers fan but I didnít like this. Disappointing.

Bottle from Tesco Extra, Aylesbury, Bucks, Friday 3rd January 2014 Pours mid gold with white bubbly head. Hoppy on nose and in mouth but there is a little boiled sweet in mouth, however the hoppiness and bitterness remains. Soft in mouth with a little citrussy zestiness. Fine. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4
