Bottle. Bright gold with a white head. Aroma of mandarins, grapefruit, grass. Very light bodied. Bittersweet with light biscuit, grass and citrus, a little apricot. Dryish, moderately bitter finish. Apart from the citrus flavours - which are OK but don’t really sparkle - it’s a bit dull.

Fuller’s? An American Pale Ale? My world just went topsy turvy. Golden colour with a coarse white head and persistent sparkle. Bright, fresh hop aroma - grassy herbal hops and undertones of fresh spruce. The flavours are true to style as well with resinous bitterness and a medium body. This was pleasantly surprising. Orange and lemon citrus begins to take over the flavour on the lengthy finish. Old world imitating new world and done very well indeed. Lovely stuff. So much flavour for such a mild abv.

Bottle at Malmö beer and whiskey festival. Not really an excellent apa, it’s decent, still think Fuller’s should probably stick to the more classic English-style beers.

500ml bottle at home. Pours clear gold, big bubbly head that didn’t last despite high carbonation. Aromas are light citrus and pine, slight butterscotch. Taste is light bitter, light caramel. Finishes thin and watery. Probably better on cask.

Agree. Its american style makes it a bit IPA. A little too fizzy but I like it and will have again

Liian humalaisaa minulle. Varmaankin Jakumaista touhua.

Bottle from Sainsburys. Pleasant enough, but certainly lacks the low down grunt of a 2-litre engine. Hops are too watery. OK.
