Fairly clear, golden appearance. Floral honey and perfumed, musty house yeast carry the aroma, very evidently an English filter here. Lightly caramelized grains and grassy hop notes in support; the balancing of sweetness and bitterness, with each maintaining a degree of mellowness, is careful. Leafy bitterness and honey are the simple, straightforward components of the flavor, not much variance shown or needed really. Earthy yeast undertones are right in place. Clean texture, mid palate is sweeter but a strong pac-nw dry-hopped bitterness spreads out at the finish. Well-made pale ale. Nice to taste some malt sometimes.

Bottle 50cl, a clear golden beer with medium head. Nose is on grassy hops and marzipan. Aroma is on grassy hops, hay, light honey, marzipan, bitter almond, body is medium, good dry grassy bitterness at the finish with agrume aroma.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Fresh, citrus-fruity, slightly lemony and resiny hoppy aroma with a mildly malty background. Bitter and delicately sweet flavour, light bodied with a crisp carbonation. Mildly biscuity malty base with resiny, spicy and slightly fruity hops, slightly harshly bitter finish. Lacks a malty backbone. 20.III.15

bottle from Bierpost. Golden yellow with a tall white head. Lovely and promising hop aroma, resiny and slightly fruity. Good malty base to support the robust and aromatic hops. Resiny and slightly citrusy, quite powerful. Delicious and very moreish.

Sparkling clear golden with lasting white bubbles on top. Aroma is hop centred, citrus, grass. Chalky tinge to it too? Taste is much more malty - grains and biscuits, with little hop flavour really. Bitterness, yes, all the way through. Well made beer, but Iím not sure the English-version-of-an-American-version-of-an-Engli experiment is one that needed to be undertaken.

Bottle. Golden-orange colored with a frothy white fast vanishing head. Aroma is hoppy fruity with citrus and orange peel. The flavor is underdeveloped and cannot hold what the smell promised. The taste is light to medium bitter with good bitter finish. The body is very light almost to thin with high carbonation and a somewhat unpleasant to sparkling mouth-feel.

Pours light golden, small amount of white head. Aroma is grass and grapefruit. Full, oily body. Crisp, bitter finish.
