4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottled, 0.50l. Clear deep golden color with small frothy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of citrus, tropical fruits and resin hops. Taste starts moderate sweet malty, supported by fresh herbal note, while finished with harsh long lasting spicy bitterness. Full body, thick texture and average carbonation in palate. I donít care if itís too one dimensional, but I really like this beer. Double hops make triple pleasure...

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Real ale. Mild aroma has citrus, bit tropical fruits. Malt stays under this. Bit cloudy honey to copper, nice dense head is one finger and long and good lacing. Bitter slightly and fruity sweet, soft round fullerís body, soft carbonation, creamy soft very good palate, nice soft finish, nuts. Looks good, smells nice, is velvety soft and full and leaves me wanting for more while still satisfied.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
500ml Bottle. It pours a golden body with a thick white head that slowly disperces to a little lacing, Its aroma is quite impressive - grapefruit and biscuit malts are the predominant notes but theres grass and other citrus fruits too. Its taste is of malts, biscuit at first which passes to a mild lemon and grapefruit with a slightly dry bitter finish. A very decent session beer this. I will be having this again.

Bottle from Tesco, Gateshead. This pale golden beer has tropical fruit and orange marmalade flavours, a creamy mouthfeel and bitter grapefruit on the finish. Excellent!

Draft. Clear golden color, american hops aroma: citrus, fruit, floral. Refreshing taste with hop bitterness, piney, grapefruit, very suitable for summer.

UPDATED: AUG 20, 2013 Cask in the Viaduct Tavern, EC1. Lovely clear golden colour. Nice citrus hoppy aroma, taste is well balanced with firm biscuit malt holding the American hops together well. Lovely long juicy hop finish. It was a horribly muggy day but this drank really really well. Not too strong on the booze, a great hoppy bitter.
Rerate after a couple more pints in 2013. I do like this but 3.9 was a bit generous, re-score lower.

Cask @ Euston Flyer, London. Golden coloured. Aroma is faintly grassy, citrusy. Taste- light tropical fruit, grapefruit. A slight bitter finish but would expect it to be a bit more with it's double hop claims. I rather enjoyed it nonetheless.

Cask at Royal Inn on The Park, Victoria Park, East London. Slightly hazy rich golden colour with minimal head and very slight lacing. Hay fever means I can't smell a whole lot. Taste is piney with a slight lime bitterness. Tasty beer that I've been looking forward to trying for a while.

Golden beer, thin white head; not sure about the aroma, got stuck into this in a hurry at the New Forest Inn, Ashurst after a bike ride in the heat; tasted very much like the Dogfish Head 60 minute IPA that I had in the US the previous August; served a trifle too warm here, but nevertheless it had a good hop bite, a subtle fruitiness and good balancing solid pale malt; refreshing and moreish, could have scored more if slightly cooler.
