Soft straw gold pour with two fingers of white head. Soft ginger in the nose with an earthy/musty and bready malt profile. Lightly spicy in the flavor with some muted ginger notes. Herbal on the finish with a full and coating mouthfeel .

Draft at beer study. Finally trying this and I gotta say its pretty good. Finally a product that Fullsteam should be proud to stand behind, assuming they can keep consistent with their quality control, etc. ginger is present but well controlled..drinks kinda like a light ginger kolsch
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 durhambeer (2398) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - APR 6, 2013
I generally can’t really get down with beers featuring ginger, but I was pleased at how relatively subtle it was. Some earthy notes and some pepper, well balanced hop and malt action. Grass. Pours light clear orange. Fine, but nothing special.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 JCB (3808) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - APR 6, 2013
On tap at the brewery, Durham. Slightly hazy deep gold pour, moderate head. Nose is certainly quite ripe and herbal, with a bit of wood and grassy hops in there. Kind of reminds me of that Westbrook wit in some ways. Prominent ginger but kind of one-dimensionally grassy.

10oz pour at Flying Saucer Raleigh. Ok aroma, sweet. Soft ginger, kind of like larger produced ginger ales. Grassy. Tad hazed orangy gold color. Ok initial head that faded quick. Sweet bitter flavor. Medium body thin smooth mouthfeel. Dry finish. Ok, fun to try, but I don’t see me having a lot of it.
2.6 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 thedm (4773) - Fort Wayne, USA - FEB 27, 2013
This draft brew from the brewery poured a head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a softly carbonated transparent yellow colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was medicinal and ginger. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of mild citrus mild hops and ginger. A decent one that I would consider buying again.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Drake (6507) - Ivy, Virginia, USA - FEB 24, 2013
Brewvival Trip Beer 78. Cask at Brewvival. Pours a hazy orange color with a thin frothy head. Decent head retention. Big fresh ginger aroma with some other herbal notes and pale malts. The taste is ginger, caramel, toasted malts. Much like ginger snaps. Medium bodied.

I’m very surprised and impressed that we got this one before North Carolina. Draft at ChurchKey. Clear golden color, bright white head. Aroma of subtle mixed spices. The ginger really comes through in the taste, but it’s not overwhelming. Very drinkable.
