I generally can’t really get down with beers featuring ginger, but I was pleased at how relatively subtle it was. Some earthy notes and some pepper, well balanced hop and malt action. Grass. Pours light clear orange. Fine, but nothing special.

Can poured a hazy gold with a small lasting white head. Aromas of ginger, bread and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of bread, ginger and light earthiness with a crisp dry lingering ginger finish.

Splotches of lace left on the glass. The aroma is grain, earth malt and a bright ginger. The taste is orange citrus fruit, bright ginger and the cracker softly sweet malt. The palate light to medium bodied with active carbonation and ginger in the clean finish.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Decent herbal here. Pours golden into the glass with a huge head that retains well, diminishing to soapy ring lace. Lots of ginger to the nose, and dominates the flavor profile. The finish, again, is spiced with ginger. The palate is not cloying, with the light body and active mouthfeel providing a spicy, lingering dry pull. Short of refreshing, it is an interesting quencher. Almost like a traditional (non-alcoholic) ginger ale without the sugar. Neat for a rating, and makes for a decent conversation piece as an aperitif.

A nice low gravity herbal type beer focused on the spiciness of ginger. Actually pretty impressive and balanced. Decent mouthfeel. Very nice head. Nice ginger aroma. For what it is its memorable.

Good for a hot day. A lot of ginger both in flavors and nose. On the back end you get the normal pale ale tastes.

Ginger. Beer. Light and crisp. Tastes like goslings ginger beer, but an actual beer. Very interesting.
