You definitely get the sweet potato but it is still just a lager. Pours a great color and is very drinkable, would be a great gateway into craft beers for those who are just starting out.

Very nice sweet smell!! Only seem to get one good whiff though, maybe cause I let it sit for a bit, normal amber appearance, taste is malty on the front end and more hoppy on the finish..but light hops....watery though, light on flavor like a malty water

A nice crisp lager with a mellow sweetness. Itís earthy to a degree and has a touch of sweet potato flavor. You know. It reveals itself a little more with each sip...like a sweet potato fry finish. Itís actually quite nice, I want to put salt on it. Itís a really solid lager base too. Excellent body, cereal flavors and carbonation.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Rated on 02-27-2013 at Fullsteam Brewery. This draft beer has a small smooth off-white head with a short retention, golden transparent body, no visible carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is earthy, sweet and bready malt. The flavor mimics the aroma. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is light-medium bodied. Overall, this is a quaffable session beer with not a lot of character to it.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bottle, I drunk most of it. Poured a mostly clear amber color with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma was lots of sweet sugary notes, sweet potato yam character. Light lemon, caramel malt, lager character. Interesting. Not bad, but perhaps just a little sweet. A touch refreshing with a lower abv that was nice.

22 oz bottle. 5.5%. From a trade with jcnielsen. Thanks a lot Justin!
Clear copper colour with a small frothy white head.
Sweet malt, mild bitterness, mild metal and some sweet potato notes in the aroma. The flavour is dry bitterness, malt and more dryness. Very dry flavour.

Nice light sweet ale. Amber colored. Aroma and taste only give slight sweet potato presence, but sweetness is there. Other than that plenty drinkable, but nothing too special.

Growler. Pours a clear amber color with a small white head. Nose is actually a little sweet, yet still light. Taste is much the same with light easy feel. Not bad, but not great.
