COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
El Toro is a true-to-style American Cream Ale, brewed with 100% North Carolina barley and corn. Inspired by our home city of Durham, this straw-colored beer is welcoming and unpretentious. A perfect beverage when you “just want a beer.”

Clear yellow pour with white head. Aroma of corn and some malts. Flavor of more corn and sweetness, kind of like a lager with sugar added. Ok finish not too much carbonation.

Easy drink, but fairly unremarkable. Pours golden with very little head. Not a lot of taste to it at all.

Draft at Brewpub. It’s odd that they’d want to back a better version of Genny cream. Pours golden with a thin white head. Not much on the nose. Slightly gravelly taste on the tongue. Eh!

Growler, pours a totally clear honey yellow with zero head. Aroma of wet malts, a little chewable vitamin, bread. Flavor is lightly sweet, a little apple, a little honey. Watery finish.

Had this beer on tap at the brewery. I could not drink it at all. It is loaded with DMS and seriously flawed.
