3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle, from Sams Quik Stop, I think. Good aroma, sweet. Chocolate, banana, kind of cola. Vanilla and banana blend. Clean orangey brown color, ok head little to no lace. Sweet flavor. Full body, still creamy smooth mouthfeel, sweet finish. It’s ok, smooth for 8%. Aroma and flavor are about equal for me, aroma little more interesting, but flavor got better as it warms. Not super impressive, solid big brown ale.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
4oz pour at Churchkey pours a clear, rootbeer brown with some clumpy, white head. Nose has a ton of vanilla, banana, rootbeer, a little coconut. Flavor is a little weaker, banana, vanilla, caramel, banana cream pie. Thin finish.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On draft at Churchkey in D.C.
The beer is near black with a small, fleeting beige cap. The aroma brings a big dose of chocolate fudge, bananas, a hint of peanuts. Sweet, but not cloying. Reminiscent of a candy bar. Big fudge character with banana and fruity sweetness. Medium bodied and smooth. A solid beer. Best in small quantities.
