COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our tribute to the Southern tradition of an RC Cola and a MoonPie. We brew Working Manís Lunch beer with biscuity malts, vanilla, and chocolate nibs from Raleighís own Escazu Artisan Chocolates. We then get a little zany and brew with a German Weizen (Weihenstephan) yeast strain to lighten the beer up and impart estery banana and clove notes. The dark beer for íround the year!
Availability: year-round, 22oz bombers at our tavern and select markets, including the Durham Farmerís Market. 5.7% ABV.

Brown ale with a hint of chocolate hidden inside. I didnt taste any banana or anything like a moon pie. Still, its easy to drink and quite good.

Billed as a beer with "moon pie" flavors, but falls closer to a dunkle weizen instead. Slight banana in the finish. Some chocolate power in there too. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

On tap at the brewery. Black with some light barely coming through the glass. Strong aroma and flavor of chocolate and banana, with a sweet finish. Iím a big fan of this one.

Decent brown ale consumed in chapel hill where dreams come true. Hint of chocolate.

Draft for the bourbon barrel version black as night. Good lacing brown head. The porter actually overpowers the bourbon. Not sure if that's good or not. Even the aroma lacks the typical bourbon smell. Not bad ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at Sandwhich in Chapel Hill NC. Pours a clear, deeper cola red. Rockier, creamy head. Sheets of lace. Nose is quite sweet, big sugar, light saltwater/sweat. Taste is decently thick chocolate porter up front finishing mealy apple, chalk, minerals. Odd aftertaste. Similar to Caribbean milk stout. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours very dark with a small head. Good level of smokiness to it, though it was poured a little warm for me.

Served on draft at the brewery. Pours a clear dark brown color with a large creamy light brown head. Decent head retention. Aroma of chocolate, caramel and a fruity finish. The taste is chocolate, tart cherries, stone fruits and a slightly vegetal note. Medium bodied and very drinkable.

Draught @ Aliviaís. Sits garnet brown in the glass with ruby edges and one finger of sandstone tan head. Nose shows a light roasty character with notes of toasted grain and chocolate. Some fruity esters coming through and a hint of diacetyl. Flavor is well represented by the aroma in that you taste everything you smell and vice versa. Toasty with notes of semis-sweet bakers chocolate and herbal hops. Is the alcohol correctly listed here? Didnít seem like 6% and it does say low alcohol
