COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Garage Series.
Insurrection’s flavor profile is spearheaded by Nelson Sauvin and Mosaic hops added at a rate of nearly 4 pounds per barrel. Both hops are new breeds, and they combine to overwhelm the senses with an onslaught of citrus, white grape, and blueberry notes. An equally aggressive malt bill provides serious backbone and an ABV of just under 9%

Honestly one of the easiest drinking 9% abv beers I’ve ever had. Plenty off citrus but not the huge bitterness of some doubles, also not too sticky and sweet.

This yummy ipa is one of my favorite locals from an overall impressive selection at Fulton. Tons of citrus and fruity hops and resin that I expect from a 9% dipa. Yum.

Bottle from TheHoff43 - thanks! Pours crystal clear orange, medium creamy beige head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is onion, spruce, grapefruit, dankness. Flavor is light plus sweet, medium bitter, resinous. Medium body, oily mouthfeel. Decent.

Bottle, from The Hoff43, I think. Slightly hazy reddish in color with a medium white head, excellent lacing. Nose is grapefruit and pine. Taste is mostly bitterness initially with a light citrus hop flavor. Medium to light body, moderate carbonation. overall, the hop flavor seems to be very subdued and light for a double IPA. bitterness dominates, and lasts into the finish. A moderate alcohol warming. just ok.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a nice bright amber color with a tight frothy head that leaves a thin tight film and some lacing. Aroma is kind of dank resin pine mango citrus and a soft balance of caramel malt. Taste is bitter citrus resin pine hops soft spice bite and well balanced malt. Palate is full kind of creamy and finishes with a nice spice bite and warm feeling in the end. I like!

I expected more from this beer given the style and hop varieties that were used. Citrus aroma with light pine, nice appearance. Citrus flavor with pine, white wine, and a good malty backbone. Quite bitter on the finish. Probably the best I have had from Fulton, but in comparison with other DIPAs left me wanting something more.

Copper color with a medium head. Musty, mangoy aroma. Light caramel and marmalade flavor. A bit of dank. Moderate bitterness.

12oz bottle. Pours a golden-Amber color. Aroma of fruity hops, orange, and pine. Tastes very balanced with a solid bitterness backing the sweet and dry finish. Flavors of orange, pine, citrusy hops, grape nuts, and pepper.
