Insurrectionís flavor profile is spearheaded by Nelson Sauvin and Mosaic hops added at a rate of nearly 4 pounds per barrel. Both hops are new breeds, and they combine to overwhelm the senses with an onslaught of citrus, white grape, and blueberry notes. An equally aggressive malt bill provides serious backbone and an ABV of just under 9%

Tropical citrus aroma. Beautiful copper color with whitish head. Taste is piney tropical fruit and spice. Really clean and crisp. Very nice. One of the better DIPAís Iíve tasted. Nice work Fulton.

Had on tap at Winterfest 2013. Great citrus scents, bit of resin. Taste is a great pine/resin hop flavor.

Sample at Winterfest. I was really impressed with this new offering from Fulton. Everything Iím looking for in a DIPA - strong citrus floral aromas and biting bitterness. Iíd put this just behind the Abrasives of the world. I really hope they ramp this up and bottle it.

My first sniff, I thought it smelled like natural gas, but a second whiff confirmed it was much more cat pee-ish (which isnít going to grab a lot of non-IPAíers, but is really telling). This is a really good imperial/double IPA, with a big combo of mingled tropical fruit and bitter hop flavors. Pours a clear copper, with little by way of head, but what a feast of flavors. Well-balanced with the malt so itís not too sweet, not too bitter. Easily the standout beer Iíve tried from Fulton. Will definitely need to get some more.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a nice bright amber color with a tight frothy head that leaves a thin tight film and some lacing. Aroma is kind of dank resin pine mango citrus and a soft balance of caramel malt. Taste is bitter citrus resin pine hops soft spice bite and well balanced malt. Palate is full kind of creamy and finishes with a nice spice bite and warm feeling in the end. I like!

On tap at Bulldog NE in Minneapolis. A light amber brew with a great malt backbone and a complex hop profile. Citrus, pine and spice. Soft texture. Very fresh and tasty!

12oz bottle. Pours a golden-Amber color. Aroma of fruity hops, orange, and pine. Tastes very balanced with a solid bitterness backing the sweet and dry finish. Flavors of orange, pine, citrusy hops, grape nuts, and pepper.

This yummy ipa is one of my favorite locals from an overall impressive selection at Fulton. Tons of citrus and fruity hops and resin that I expect from a 9% dipa. Yum.

Honestly one of the easiest drinking 9% abv beers Iíve ever had. Plenty off citrus but not the huge bitterness of some doubles, also not too sticky and sweet.
