COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The Ringer is an American Pale Ale with a crisp hop character and bright citrus aroma. The Ringer, however, is lighter than it would appear, clocking in at only 5% ABV. (Put another way, The Ringer cannot appear weightless). For today, we’ve cask conditioned the Ringer on Nelson Sauvin Hops.

Lots of hops and citrus, a bit of pleasant sweetness but overall too bitter for me. A bit of a funky aftertaste.

Draught at Brasas in St. Paul. Light piney hop nose. Copper/amber color. Light grass and some grain / somewhat decent hopping / light hop tracks in finish. Medium body. Okay. Nothing exceptional about this one.

Tap at Burger Moe’s. Amber in color with a thin white cap on top. Grassy hop with a light citrus background and bready malts. Flavor is mildly sweet with a light grassy lingering bitterness. Watery.

A good IPA -- brewed in Minneapolis. Good hops, good balance, solid and reputable beer.

A decent APA. Light and citrusy, not too intense but a good session APA if you want to call it that.

A solid pale ale. Too bad I had pseudosue by toppling Goliath a few hours earlier. Nice fruity and resinous aromas and flavors. Solid.

Pour on tap at the brewery, clear yellow-orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of biscuit, bread into a bit of light lemon, orange peel, hints of a bit of grass, zesty notes, pretty light for a pale. Taste is a light mix of lemon, biscuit, bread, slight orange peel, hints of grass and spicy notes, touch of sweet white fruit as well, finishing slightly bitter, dry.

Sampled on tap at Fulton. Pours a golden orange color with white head. Citrus, light hoppy flavors. Meh.

Draft at Fulton during RBSG. From notes. Mostly grains with a slight hoppy bitterness. Drinkable but not special.
