COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Wagging Tail is named in honor of Libby (Jim’s yellow lab & Fulton’s unofficial mascot) Diley’s unflagging enthusiasm for hand-crafted beer. Thanks to Libby’s love of cleaning up spillage on brew day, our brewery has the cleanest floors around. Her vigorous tail-wagging is, we assume, her seal of approval. At once simple and complex, Wagging Tail Pale Ale is a superb introduction to the world of craft beer. The initial aromatic greeting highlights the floral Cascade hops. The flavor profile is perfectly balanced: Two varieties of American barley present a hint of caramel, along with a touch of wheat and the smooth bitterness of Perle hops. The yeast ferments cleanly, leaving just enough residual sweetness while adding a desirable citrus character. Carbonation is tight, refreshing the palate without overpowering the beer’s subtler characteristics. Of course, you don’t need to think this much about Wagging Tail in order to enjoy it. Just ask Libby.
