3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I’m not a huge saison fan, this one was outstanding. I enjoyed a pint of this on draft the Railroad in Linfield. The Crimson seems like a combination of a saison with a hefeweizen. The pour was a cloudy, light gold color with some nice lacing around the inside of the glass. I got a lot of banana and clove in the nose, as well as in the flavors. The body was silky and smooth and extremely drinkable. I tasted some light hops and yeast in the flavors, as well, before the beer finished on a floral and spicy note. This is definitely a really nice beer.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours hazy golden straw with small off white soapy head. Aroma is earthy, honey and floral. Did not pick up any cherry. Taste is tart with underlying sweetness that sneaks up on the finish. Medium bodied, slick texture with some stickiness on finish.
